Pete Ziehler latest recipient of NAPRA River of Award.

NAPRA would like to recognize long time angler and founder Pete Ziehler as the 2027 NAPRA River of Honor award winner. He joins NAPRA legend Karl Halley, key sponsors such as Snack Daddy Lures and Maniac Custom Lures in the NAPRA Hall of fame. He stated "I couldn't have done this without those that made NAPRA what it is. That includes past members such as Kortis, Halley, and the Hills along with colleagues such as Stan Kegley (Troy) and Five Rivers MetroParks. I dedicate this award to my late wife Amy whom was the cornerstone of each idea NAPRA has come up with."

Newell wins AOY in close battle with Gardner

Coming down to the last event of the year Aaron Newell had a few points lead over Shaun Gardner for AOY. Newell's second place finish secured the AOY crown for Newell. Newell was honored to win and wants to thank AOY sponsors Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken - Miami Valley, Pradco Outdoor Brands, and Fisherman's Headquarters for supplying great prizes. DUFF WINS NAPRA CUP!

What a weekend for Randal Duff! First, he won the BOSS CUP and followed it up with an amazing showing in the 2026 NAPRA CUP. The CUP, presented by Pradco Outdoor Brands, Rippin' Lips Lures, Hoosier baits , and FishUSA, was held on the bountiful waters of the Stillwater/GMR and Greenville Creek. Duff's 83" bested Aaron Newell's 80" for the top spot. Duff was consistent with 3 fish at 16.5", a big fish at 17.75" and his smallest (wow) at 15.75". What a great win for Duff.

NAPRA NEWS!

Duff wins BOSS CUP!

On a very tough day due to lightening, rain, and stingy rivers, Randal Duff mastered the rivers and scorched the competition with 82.5" of fish. Zach McCane finished 2nd with 60.25 followed by Pete Ziehler (48") for 3rd. Dave Asher, the 2026 ROY finished 4th.

The 2026 NAPRA season will conclude this weekend. Already planning for an awesome 2027 season with new river systems (Deer Creek and Alum Creek) and great new hosts for our anglers including Local Cantina, Clark's Pizza House Of Bradford and Hammer Time Pub!

NAPRA will again be partnering with Pradco Outdoor Brands for 2027!

Aaron Newell it was time to bring out his best to close the gap between him and David Asher for bonuses earned heading into the BOSS CUP. Aaron's 51.25" edged Asher's 51" to win the final stage of the BOSS Series. Results for BOSS #5 as follows with notes for the BOSS CUP after that:
