What a fantastic weekend at the Brown County Charity Horse Show! We had an incredible time cheering on our riders, spending time with our horse show family, and making memories both in and out of the ring.
We are so proud of each rider and horse for their hard work, sportsmanship, and dedication. From early mornings in the barn to celebrating accomplishments after classes, every moment was filled with teamwork, laughter, and fun.
Horse shows are about so much more than ribbons—they’re about setting goals, building confidence, creating friendships, and enjoying the journey with our horses. We loved watching our riders support one another and seeing all the progress they’ve made throughout the season.
A huge thank you to the Brown County Charity Horse Show for hosting such a wonderful event and to our families for their continued support. We’re grateful for every opportunity to share our love of horses and the American Saddlebred breed.
Until the next show, we’ll be back at the barn making more memories and working toward our goals. ❤️🐴

We tried something new to kick off the summer and help “bless” our new stalls. Who wouldn’t want to have a sleep over in the barn?! Our night was filled with pizza and ice cream, games, and a little bit of sleep 😴 We enjoyed it so much we might just make our next project a bunk house so we can do this again 😉 There is nothing we would rather be doing than making memories and sharing our passion for life with others 🥰

✨🌟Meet Me Monday 🌟✨

Barn Name: Elvis
Registered Name: Nightly Rhythm and Blues
Breed: American Saddlebred
Age: 6

Meet Elvis! He belongs to Toby. He is a charismatic guy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. This handsome guy knows how to turn heads in the barn and steal attention wherever he goes. Elvis loves being pampered, enjoys all the treats and scratches he can get, and always finds a way to make everyone laugh with his playful antics. He has never met a stranger, he’s a “helpful” guy when it comes to doing anything with him…just watch your fingers because he learns by sticking things in his mouth 🤪

Elvis is currently in training to become a riding horse, his previous life was an Amish buggy horse. He is a quick learner and eager to please and we are eager to see what HE wants to become! Watch for him later this year for his show ring debut!

Granby Farm riders attended the ASHAO show in Ashland OH a few weeks ago. This was our second year attending and the show did not disappoint! Riders were asked to step up in the time of need, took on the challenge with grace, and we all persevered. Shout out to our two academy riders AJ and Aurora, both with firsts at this show. AJ had his first walk trot leadline class and Aurora took the arena by storm in her first walk trot class off the lead!

Catching up on a busy past few weeks! River Ridge Charity 2026 is in the books. We went, learned a lot, had a blast, and can’t wait to do it again! The icing on the cake was coming home to a cute message and clean barn. It certainly takes a village and we cannot do it without our amazing help ❤️

Enjoying some fresh spring grass! Zeke and Amos hit the jackpot today getting to enjoy the full grass pasture for the first time this spring. Elvis and Gunner were #2 on the list!

It’s our favorite time of year, when blue skies last for hours! When those days become longer, so does our time in the saddle. Last weekend we set out for our first trail ride of the year visiting Sugarcreek bridle trails! We saw LOTS of deer, heard turkeys and even an owl.

It has taken us a moment to reflect on what a great start we have had to our 2026 show season as it has brought upon so many good emotions! We just recently attended the Spring Showcase Horse Show in Springfield, OH. We’re feeling incredibly proud of the entire Granby Farm team, It’s so rewarding to see their hard work come together in the ring. While each ride may not have been perfect, we are reminded that It’s NOT about the ribbon, it’s about the RIDE and the journey it takes to get there💙

Lauren and I’m Pretty Fortunate had their show ring debut this year in their first “big time class”. They showed great progress with their rides and will continue learning with each other in and out of the show ring!

Scarlett and Zinnia DaVinci made remarkable improvements in their two rides! So much so, they rode their way to Reserve Champion! These two will continue working hard to put it all together for the show ring.

Toby and Midori Heir hit the ring for the first time together in over a year and it was like they have never left. They both put in two solid, consistent rides, showing just how amazing their bond is 💙 They will continue enjoying each others company this show season while Toby awaits for her new horse to become show ring ready!

Lauren and Midori Heir participated in the fist ever Horsemanship class. This event had 18 riders participating in the fundraiser that raised $3500, it was a privilege to watch these amazing riders and their horses fight for the heavy weight belt. You can count on us to support this cause again 🎁

Aurora and Amos took the show ring by storm bringing home two ribbons to start their collection! This pair stepped into the show ring for the very first time, put their game face on, and met their goals for this show. We are excited to watch this pair this season!

Lilly and AJ both rode to top honors in their lead line class. Lilly was a perfect princess perched up on our good boy Amos while AJ was a rockstar on Gunner. Watch for AJ to graduate this show season into walk and trot!

So many improvements, so much growth, and so many proud moments. This is what it’s all about, and we can’t wait for the next one 🥳
