ICYMI: The Civilian Marksmanship Program has named the Crawfish Cup as one of two Regional Action Pistol matches where competitor's scores will be used in naming the USA Team at the 2026 World Championship in the land down under. In addition, the Crawfish Cup offers competitors the option of competing to earn Excellence in Competition Points. Come join some of the best competitors in the world on April 24 & 25! Entry into The Crawfish Cup is now open at practiscore.com. Chose "Clubs", then The Crawfish Cup. You must enter the State match and the Regional match separately. Both matches are CMP sanctioned matches. CMP has instituted a Distinguished Program for 2026. Both the Regional and the State will Excellence in Competion matches. Competitors wanting to compete for EIC Points must declare so at Registration for each match, the Regional and the State. Details are available at Thecmp.org. The dates for the 2026 Crawfish Cup Action Pistol Regional & State Championships have been changed due to a conflict with the NRA Annual Meetings and show. The new dates are Friday and Saturday, April 24 & 25. Range will be open for practice Monday through Thursday, April 20 to 23.

It was a very tight finish at the 2025 Zero Bullets Crawfish Cup Regional Championship! The top four all shot perfect 1920 points. Bruce Piatt earned the title of Crawfish Cup Regional Champion with 178Xs, followed by SGT Walter Johnson only one X behind Bruce with 177Xs. Benito Martinez was only one X behind Walter, with 176 Xs, finishing in Third Place. Doug Koenig also shot a 1920 with an X-count of 170. Congratulations to all four for shooting perfect scores! This year's match was sanctioned under the Civilian Marksmanship Program, who runs the Bianchi Cup International Pistol Championship in less than four weeks. CMP will use scores from the Crawfish Cup, along with scores from the Flagler Cup, in Bates City, MO, and the Bianchi Cup in selecting USA Team members for the 2025 & 2026 World Action Pistol Championships.
