It's hard to believe it's been just over a year since we lost Henry. He was one of the smartest kids with a brilliant mind and so much potential. The kid fell in love with the sport of wrestling and set a goal of placing at state his freshman year, which would have been this year. And it was a goal that was genuinely within reach. I hope the kids who grew up with him remember him as who he was, very funny, smart, and outgoing. And I hope the memory of his passing is a lesson to them too. You'll always be missed, Henry. RIP.

That's a wrap on our wrestling camp!

A huge thank you to everyone who came out this weekend and put in the work. We had a great turnout, a lot of great wrestling, and most importantly, a lot of athletes getting better.

A special thank you goes out to Carter Schmidt for taking the time to come back and share his knowledge and experience with the next generation of wrestlers. We truly appreciate everything you did to make this camp a success.

Thank you to all the parents, coaches, and wrestlers who helped make this weekend possible. We are proud of the effort and attitude the athletes brought to every session.

Enjoy your summer, everyone. Find another camp to attend, and keep on wrestling!

Belgrade, Bozeman, Manhattan, Three Forks, and all other towns in the area, we are having a two-day camp hosted by Carter Schmidt this Saturday and Sunday. All are welcome. Come train and learn some technique from a D1 wrestler!

Carter Schmidt is coming back to Belgrade to run a two-day camp. We’re making this free for all wrestlers, with donations encouraged to help support him as he continues his college career. We’re looking forward to having a D1 wrestler back in the room to share his experience!

Proud is an understatement for this group this weekend in Great Falls.

Stepping out of their comfort zone and trying freestyle wrestling takes courage, humility, and character. All five of these athletes showed that this weekend. Being willing to challenge themselves and compete in something unfamiliar is what builds confidence, toughness, and growth both on and off the mat.

Big congratulations to Charlee for taking 1st in both modified and freestyle. You did your thing!

Jaxon (1st), Crosby (3rd), Terrence (2nd/3rd), and Brody (5th) — we couldn’t be more proud of the way you all competed and battled. We saw throws, big moments, grit, improvement, and a whole lot of potential this weekend. Every one of you took steps forward.

The future is bright for this group!

Practices are open to everyone. Come get a good workout, tighten up your technique, and learn some throws on our new throwing pads. The time you put in now will pay off when next season rolls around.

Freestyle State is two weeks out, and the off-season is where champions are made. The work we put in right now and throughout the summer will be worth it when next season rolls around. Take something from this and go apply it.
