Hello community! Our flexible 5k is coming up this September 12! Don't worry, you don’t have to be a runner to participate.

You choose your duration, your speed, and your traveling companions. Strollers, wheelchairs, mobility scooters, bikes, and foot scooters are all welcome to join in the family-friendly fun.

This event supports our mission that no one in Waldo County need grieve or die alone.

PLUS! All participants will be entered into a drawing for locally made mini-pies.

The second annual Hospice Volunteers of Waldo County 5K, is on September 12, starting at 8:30 a.m., at the head of the Belfast Rail Trail at the Depot Station, 13 Oak Hill Road in Belfast. Map and registration: www.runbelfast.org.

Belfast runners Evan Hutchins, Rob Fowler and Wes Smith just completed mile 29 of the Backcove Backyard Ultra! They started at 10am and will go till they can’t! 🥵 Congrats Guys!! 👏🏼

SERIES REGISTRATION
​There will be a special sign-up sheet available the morning of June 13 during pre-registration for the Paces for PAWS 5K for individuals who plan to run ALL SIX of the RunBelfast events. By completing the sign-up sheet and paying a fee of $100, an individual will be registered for all six runs and will be eligible for any run related goodies.

While this isn’t a sponsored RunBelfast race, our High School Peer Leader Leos would love some support for their 5k this weekend!

This run/walk will start at the foot bridge and head down the rail trail, turn around and come back! Hope to see you there 😊
