❤️ After 10 incredible years serving Midcoast families, we want to share an important update about the future of Kids Unplugged.

As many of you know, we have been actively seeking a buyer who can continue the Kids Unplugged mission and carry this special place forward for future generations of children and families. While we have had many conversations and continue to pursue several promising opportunities, no sale has been finalized at this time.

Because of the timeline involved in operating the business, we have made the difficult decision that if a buyer is not secured by the end of July, Kids Unplugged will close its doors at the end of the summer season.

Our hope remains that the right individual, group, or organization will step forward and continue what has been built here over the last decade. We believe deeply in the value of Kids Unplugged, the community that surrounds it, and the impact it has had on thousands of children and families. As part of any successful transition, Lee intends to continue teaching gymnastics and remain involved with Kids Unplugged through the ownership transition, and potentially beyond, helping to preserve the relationships, programs, and spirit that have made Kids Unplugged such a special place for our community.

We’re currently hiring for:

🌟 Summer Camp Director
$20–$24/hour
We’re looking for a strong leader who is organized, energetic, patient, and LOVES creating magical experiences for kids. Someone who can lead a team, think on their feet, bring positive energy every day, and help make summer unforgettable for our campers.

🎨 Summer Camp Counselors
Starting at $16–$18/hour (depending on experience)
Perfect for someone who genuinely loves kids, play, creativity, teamwork, and staying active! We want counselors who are enthusiastic, kind, dependable, playful, and ready to jump into dance parties, games, crafts, obstacle courses, water play, and summer adventures alongside our campers.

✨ Position Details:
• Flexible summer hours: approximately 14–28 hours per week
• Summer season runs June 29th–August 25th
• Fun, active, supportive team environment
• A summer filled with creativity, movement, laughter, and connection

✨ Ideal candidates are:
• Patient and nurturing
• Fun, engaging, and energetic
• Team players with positive attitudes
• Comfortable leading activities and interacting with children
• Passionate about creating safe, joyful experiences for kids
