After having to make the decision to close Legacy Farms Disc Golf and list the Home and Property for sale. I chose to donate 9 of the baskets and rubber t-pads to the Belfast Middle School and 9 to the Winterport Middle School / Rec Department in Honor and Memory of my husband, Henry Grover.

The dedication ceremony of the disc golf course in Belfast will be on Sat. SEPT. 2ND

Hi Guys,

🥏If you've lost Discs and they have been found and turned in I'll be doing one last call!

🥏I had done a call on Sat. April 15th on the found dics that we had to that point, and said they needed to be picked up by June 15th or they were going in the RESALE BIN for $5. Each.

🥏Then did a separate call on Sat. May 6th for the next batch, with same message, but needing to be picked up by July 4th.

🥏Since then more have been turned in and I'll be calling the numbers on them today...

🥏PICK UP OF ALL FOUND DISCS THAT YOU'VE BEEN CALLED OR TEXTED ABOUT MUST BE DONE BY SAT. July 22nd.🥏

🥏Call (207-322-8227), or DM me HERE to let me know what day you're coming to pick yours up and I leave it / them in the Deck Box outside the Office for you.🥏

Once again I want to let you all know how much we have appreciated your patronage, volunteering, support, and friendship over the years!

Just know that if they are not picked up by 5 pm on July 22nd they will be finding a home with in someone else's bag.

The For Sale Sign is up, and the first official viewing is happing as I type this.

The course will be closed, all of the baskets will have been donated, and the inventory will be going to another DG Course.

😥Sad to share this but the course is closing Thurs. July 6th, 12 noon.

For Sale sign for property & home is going up probably between 3rd - 6th.

If you've lost a disc please text me to see if it has been returned to the Clubhouse.
If you want to come get it / them let me know what day you'll be here and I'll put it in the Deck Box so you can come pick them up, ASAP.

I will be donating 9 Baskets to Belfast Middle School & 9 Baskets to Winterport Middle School / Rec. So that more local youth can get out and play (and maybe form teams to play against each other).

The Donation will be from me in honor and memory of my husband, Henry Grover.

Update....

Reminder that everyone still needs to sign in to be on property.

The Greens Fees have been dropped to $5. per person to play 18 holes, and $8. to play All Day.

Still just $3. to play the front 9 only.

The t-pads are not going to be replaced or upgraded.

They will be staying as is or converting back to the rubber mats until Closing Day.

Last Saturday I had my maintenance guy here for 6 hours in the rain w**d wacking & bushhogging (12, 14, 14's basket to 15 t-pad, and 17) at $30. Per hr.

He will not be back to do any more maintenance of the wooded holes before the course closing day.
The course doesn't make enough to pay anyone to do anything.

I haven't been out in a week to mow or w**d wack because of my schedule and all of the rain.

I'm being totally transparent with everyone, and really would prefer not to hear about anyone complaining. I've told everyone since loosing Henry that I will keep the couse open as long as I could.

And being all by myself it looks like it's going to end up being sooner.

Tentative date of closure...
THURSDAY, July 6th at 12 Noon.

NOTE=Anyone that has Discs here that have been lost will want to come get them by then.

I will be selling off all inventory. And what isn't sold before then, I have 2 friends that are course owners who have said they will probably want to purchase it at wholesale.

If anyone has intrest in purchasing the Building itself the price is $18,000. and it would need to be moved at your cost.

Due to events that happened today, the decision has been made to cancel the Fundraiser that had been scheduled to raise money for new t-pads.

The rubber mats will be going back to be used so that at least on the field holes I'll be able to mow right over them saving time and effort on some w**d wacking that needs to be done by me or hired to and paid for to be done.

The pricing will be dropped to $5. Per person per round, and $8. to play All Day.

I will be having my maintenance guy that I have to pay $30. Per hour come w**d wack 12, 14, and 17 sometime this weekend. He just did 6 hours the other day on 1, 2, 3, 10, & 11.

But after that I don't know if I'll be able to have him do anymore.

I may end up having to close the course and either rent out the pro- shop / office and parking lot to another type of business or maybe sell that section.

I may actually end up selling off house lots.

Before I just close the doors and tell everyone goodbye, I will be setting a final day of play, and will be selling off inventory.

When I know dates and info I will post it here and in the window up at the shop.
