🔥TRAINING ANNOUNCEMENT:Driver Operator-Pumper Course🔥

The 80-Hour Apparatus Driver Operator-Pumper – The Apparatus Driver Operator is a person who can operate fire apparatus equipped with onboard water, fire pumps, and other heavy specialized equipment. The Apparatus Driver Operator is one of the most critical positions in safe and effective fire ground operations. The Apparatus Operator is vested with the responsibility to safely operate the apparatus over streets and highways with the highest regard for the safety of the crew and community. The Apparatus Operator must be able to efficiently establish a water supply for firefighting operations, and have an in-depth understanding of a building's installed Fire Protection System and how best to support these systems for fire ground operations. The Fire Apparatus Driver Operator must have an in-depth understanding of Fire Service hydraulics and be capable of supporting multiple fire attack hand lines and master stream devices that are operated under pressure.
