Trying to punch each other can really take the most diverse group of people and make them the best of friends
These guys, with a hand full of other students, put in work tonight. We had the ladies in on the action too.
A few of them are brand new to sparring and have been watching others spar for months, working up the nerve to get in there and get their feet wet
So they Finally got their 1st taste of trying to use the moves theyāve been learning in class real speed.
Sparring is an experience that is unmatched. The range of emotions you go through, the adrenaline rush, the adrenaline dump, a level of fatigue you didnāt know was possible, over coming the shock of being hit, the joy of noticeable improvementsā¦.. and so much more
But itās a huge tool for cardio and fitness, and a even bigger tool for developing skill and precision to be able to execute technique stress and under pressure, like in a real self defense situation
Then thereās the therapeutic side. Training really allows you to decompress and free our minds from what ever is weighing you down.
You add some good sparring partners to mix, you got a therapist for fraction of the cost.
But, yeah!
It was another great night of training. For some, they will never forget this day! This was the start of their new level!š
We highly encourage everyone adds sparring to the their training routine. When done right, you get in the best shape of your life, you will develop real confidence in your self defense capabilities, and youāll have fun. Most feelnsparring is the most enjoyable part of training.
We have a process to develop people to get ready to spar. So make sure you make the technical training sessions so you can be ready for sparring technically and not be a rockāem sockāem robot.
Do you remember the 1st time you sparred? What was is like
