Upper Bay Budo Society Upper Bay Budo Society is a place of disciplined study to practice Aikido, Daitō-ryū Aiki-jūjutsu, and Karate.

We cultivate continuous improvement by strengthening the body, sharpening the mind, and calming the spirit with focused energy. Aiki Martial Arts Institute is a 501-C Non-Profit organization that provides educational courses in traditional martial arts, self-defense fundamentals, and martial arts-influenced energy work. Sensei John Goss has over 50 years of martial arts experience and founded the Aiki Martial Arts institute in 1990. If you want Aiki in Maryland this is the place to find it.
