The Abingdon Football Club (AFC) is the travel soccer arm of Emmorton Rec. Our coaching staff is among the finest in the State of MD.

We compete against other travel teams from the Greater Baltimore area. We have a storied 18 year history of success in local and regional leagues and tournaments. AFC teams are competitive with the best in the state of Maryland. Also, our director of coaching is a professional who works extensively with our teams and individuals. If you want to join the best, please contact our boys or girls coordinator or coach directly. We would love for you to join in our success!

The she rise u15 girls competed in the Heritage cup showcase this weekend, a tournament known for its high level of competition in the Virginia area. We are incredibly proud of the team and the effort they put in throughout the tournament. While the results didn’t go our way, every setback is the step toward future success. This tournament was an invaluable learning experience that will only make us stronger. Keep working hard girls. Your growth is just beginning.

These boys played hard this weekend and it didnt end the way we wanted but they came out as the finalist! We played 3 07/08 teams when our team is 08/09 in the Platinum bracket of the Heritage Cup! We played 2 ECRL teams and one MLS Next team and we held our own! We are a small club but we are mighty! Great job AFC Skipjacks! ⚽️⚽️
