As the leading martial arts program in Harford County since 1999, Chung's Martial Arts is dedicated to providing the best martial arts instruction available anywhere. We are currently located in Bel Air, Forest Hill, and Havre de Grace, MD. We offer age-appropriate classes for children, little dragons (ages 4-6), familie

s, and adults. We also offer exciting birthday parties, an After School Program, and Summer Camp. All of our programs are designed to be challenging, yet fun and exciting. Established in 1999. Since 1999, Chung's Martial Arts has been providing top martial arts instruction in a friendly and positive environment. We strive to help each students become not only a champion in the martial arts- but a champion in life! Meet the Business Owner

Doo C. Business Owner
Grandmaster Chung has over 40 years of experience in the martial arts. He has earned 7th Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, as well as achieved master level in both the hard and soft arts. He is also a master of special weapons. Grandmaster Chung is affiliated with the following organizations:

-World Tae Kwon Do Federation
-World Haidong Gumdo Federation
-International Hapkido Federation

Master Chung provided leadership with his team of expert masters and instructors. He is dedicated to providing the best service and martial arts instruction available.

Big congratulations to Donovan for completing our 4-week Confidence Course and earning his white belt. 🥋

Over the past few weeks, he showed effort, focus, and a great attitude in class, and we already see a big difference since his first day!

Belt testing is always a special reminder of what our students are building each week. Focus, confidence, discipline, respect, and the ability to keep going when something is challenging.

We are proud of every student who stepped onto the mat, gave their best effort, and showed the progress they have made through consistent training.

Congratulations to our newest certified Kukkiwon Black Belts!

We recently held our Black Belt Tea Ceremony for the students who tested in October and earned their official black belt certificates from Kukkiwon.

Earning a black belt is not just about one test. It represents years of training, focus, discipline, respect, perseverance, and personal growth. Each of these students has put in the time, effort, and commitment needed to reach this important milestone.

We also want to thank the parents and families who supported these students throughout their journey. Your encouragement, commitment, and countless trips to class helped make this milestone possible.

We are incredibly proud of our students and grateful to celebrate this moment with our Chung’s Martial Arts community.

From forms to sparring to breaking, every student had to perform under pressure and demonstrate years of training.

This group included students testing for 1st Dan (1st Degree Black Belt), 2nd Dan, 3rd Dan, and a 2nd Dan in Haidong Gumdo. A huge accomplishment that reflects their consistency and dedication.

These students just took a huge step forward on their martial arts journey. 👊

Our April Black Belt Testers showed incredible focus, discipline, and perseverance as they worked toward one of the biggest milestones in martial arts.

This group included students testing for 1st Dan (1st Degree Black Belt), 2nd Dan, and 3rd Dan in Taekwondo, and even a 2nd Dan in Haidong Gumdo. A true testament to years of dedication and continued growth beyond the black belt level.

Earning a black belt isn’t about being perfect. It’s about showing up, pushing through challenges, and refusing to quit. And continuing to grow long after that first black belt is earned.

We’re proud of the effort, attitude, and leadership each of these students displayed on the mat. This is what black belt mindset looks like. 🥋🔥
