This year, Grounded in the Clouds is once again proud to participate in the Habitat for Humanity Women's Build as part of Team Hearts & Hammers! ❤️🔨
A few years ago, I had the opportunity to take part in the Women's Build for the first time, and it completely changed my perspective. I learned that Habitat for Humanity is not a handout—it's a hand up. Families work hard alongside volunteers and invest in their own future, creating stability, security, and a place to call home.
The experience also made me realize how easily life circumstances can change. There have been times in my life when I could have found myself needing the same kind of support and opportunity that Habitat provides to local families.
If you're not familiar with Habitat for Humanity, I encourage you to take a few minutes to learn about the incredible work they do in our community. Their mission is about so much more than building houses—it's about building hope, stability, and stronger families.
This year, my personal fundraising goal is $400, our Team Hearts & Hammers goal is $3,400, and the Women's Build 2026 goal is an amazing $50,000!
