The Stettin Haus offers a year-round unique, upscale Mountain Vacation experience. In the spring and summer enjoy the walking and hiking trails, fish the rivers and streams, ride the Quad Lift to the
top of Beech Mtn and enjoy mountain biking, roller skiing, frisbee golf and more - all with the breathtaking backdrop of the surrounding mountain views. Enjoy the fall as the weather begins to cool down and the vibrant autumn colors command the mountain views! In winter and early spring, enjoy snow skiing and snowboarding on the slopes of Ski Beech! Also in the village atop Beech Mtn are the all-new Sledding Hill and the open-air Ice Skating rink as well as all of the shops and restaurants. At the house itself, enjoy the Brand New Hot Tub and the Outdoor Living Room which offers a Stainless Gas Grill, Gas Log Fireplace, large Flat Panel TV with DirecTV satellite programming, and casual, comfortable furnishings as well as outdoor dining. The property is level and well-landscaped, and features a Fire Pit. Highlighting the edge of the property is a mountain creek which offers a safe place for children to splash around as well as a wonderful place to practice your Fly Fishing! In the main house you will find a private Upstairs King Master Suite wth vaulted Tongue & Groove ceilings, HDTV, an ensuite Full Bathroom, a Dressing Table, Air Conditioning, and a covered Juliette deck. On the main floor are a Queen bedroom with a flat panel HDTV and a Bunk bedroom with a Twin over Queen log-hewn bunk bed as well as a Ladder-accessed sleeping perch with a Twin bed-above the entry door and closets. The Living Room is open to the Kitchen and Dining area, and features high, vaulted Tongue & Groove ceilings, flat panel HDTV with BluRay Player, a Gas Log Fireplace, and a piano that guests are welcome to play! The Kitchen is a chef's dream with high-end stainless appliances, gas cooktop and griddle, and Granite countertops. The impressive Granite center island is Twelve Feet Long with a unique rustic Chandelier, is surrounded with Amish-made bar seats, and aptly serves as the Dining Table. The Guest House also features vaulted Tongue & Groove ceilings and an open floor plan. The Living Area offers a comfortable sofa (which opens out to offer a Sleeper Sofa for two) and armchair which focus on the electric Fireplace and Brand New flat panel HDTV with DirecTV digital satellite programming. The Kitchenette is a dry kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and custom live-edge shelving which house ample wares for snacks and drinks. The comfy Queen bed is tucked around the corner to offer some separation from the living and kitchen areas. The Full bathroom is finished nicely with Granite and Tile, and offers a tub and shower. The Guest House also offers Heat and Air Conditioning as well as dehumidification when needed. As the owners of the Stettin Haus are members of the Beech Mtn Club, guests have the option of purchasing Guest Passes, and are therefore able to access the 18-hole Golf Course, the Swimming Pool, the Tennis Courts, the Pickle Ball Courts, the Fitness Center, the Spa, the Cafe and Restaurant, the playground and more! When the slopes of Ski Beech are open, guests have VIP access to the Alpen Haus - only available to members of the Beech Mtn Club and their guests - which offers privileged parking as well as a cozy fireside lodge to enjoy snacks and drinks in, and a place to play games, watch TV and more while warming from the snowy slopes, or while waiting for other members of your group to return from the slopes.
