Club Facilities
Golf Course - The Club is blessed with an 18-hole golf course designed by Willard Byrd stretching 6,099 yards over beautiful mountain terrain. Loren White, PGA Professional, heads our golf program and our new golf pro shop is stocked full of new items for sale. Clubhouse - Perched on a rock, overlooking the 10th and 14th holes of the golf course, is a two-story clubhouse facility
appropriately designed to accommodate members and their guests desiring diverse dining experiences. Views from the Clubhouse provide splendid panoramic Blue Ridge mountain scenes, and on a clear day mountain peaks in Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia are visible. Both indoor and outdoor venues are available for dining. Concerts are held throughout the summer on the Clubhouse Lawn. The Pub – Located below the Clubhouse, the Pub offers options for dining inside or out and take-out options you can grab and go! Tennis - The Club provides ten Har-Tru composition clay courts for the enjoyment of its members and their guests. USPTA Professionals are on hand daily to help members develop their skills through private tennis lessons, clinics and camps for all ages. Round-robins, inter-club competitions, pro-challenges and family play are just a few of the ways our members enjoy hitting the private tennis club’s courts from May through October. Pickleball - The Beech Mountain Club Pickleball Center has five dedicated, state-of-the-art pickleball courts located at the heart of the Club’s Sports campus. Deck seating overlooks the pickleball courts, along with a covered pavilion for social events. IPTPA certified pros on-site direct the Club’s program during the summer, which includes private pickleball lessons, free clinics, drop-in play, sponsored tournaments, and social events, as well as special sessions throughout the week. Swimming Pool - Our outdoor swimming pool is heated throughout the summer and offers lap lanes, a zero entry area, and play features. Averaging 82 degrees, it is open daily Memorial Day through Labor Day. Ski Lodge - Located by the ski slopes at Ski Beech, the Ski Lodge, formerly the Alpen Haus, is the winter clubhouse for members of the Beech Mountain Club. This facility provides a comfortable lounge with a newly renovated kitchen to serve lunch and dinner, restroom facilities and lockers. In the summer months, the Ski Lodge is used for various recreation activities. Social Activities Department - Our social activities department fills the calendar year-round with a variety of classes, group activities, and opportunities for road trips to theater events, local festivals, and more. Regular club activities include book clubs, a Garden & Herb Society, Bible study groups, painting classes, dinner club, Computer Club and a Lunch & Learn series. KE Day Camp – From end of June until the end of July, the Club works with KE Camps to offer an day camp for children ages 5-12 that combines athletic, creative and educational opportunities. Each week’s activity schedule will include a combination of Arts & Crafts, Pickleball, Fun with Foods, STEM Activities, Team Building, Super Science, Group Games, Wacky Wednesday and Friday Funday theme days, and Thankful Thursday community service projects. In addition, campers will participate in golf and tennis each week with the club’s pros and will also enjoy a free swim period daily. Fitness - The Club has a fitness center with resistance and cardiovascular equipment along with a stretch area and weight station for year-round use by members and their guests, open 24/7/365. Classes are offered throughout the year including yoga, slow flow stretching, tai chi, water aerobics (in the summer), and more. Club Activities - The Club has an outdoor pavilion, an indoor activity room, a bocce ball court, hiking trails, activity vans, recreation bus and various kitchen facilities in addition to the Clubhouse and Ski Lodge for use by members and their guests.
