Happy New Year! I hope you had a nice holiday and I hope you've drafted some written goals if dreaming of improving your golf game in 2024.

I think we can all attest to the accuracy of Denzel's line about dreams fueling disappointment without goals, so let's skip the sad part by working toward the happy part!

As a reminder, goals need to be written in a particular way to be achievable:

Make them SPECIFIC, MEASURABLE, ATTAINABLE, RELEVANT, AND TIME-BOUND.

Instead of writing "I want to improve my golf game", write "I will shoot a new personal best score of ____ or better by the end of 2024 by practicing putting for 5 minutes per day, hitting balls and practicing short game once a week, and playing at least once per month."

Let me know if I can help you write some goals or stay accountable to them.
