To our disappointment and regret, we will be changing the required age for memberships at our Clarinda facility. There is just too little respect for the equipment and other members using the facility to continue in this manner. More details to come once a definite plan is in place.

We apologize to those who are under the age of 18 years and actually are respectful, use the facility in the proper manner and treat other members with respect.

Let this also serve as a warning to the Bedford location. The young Bedford members seem to be doing a better job all the way around and we appreciate it.

Members....pick up after yourself. We have a lot of young members in both locations right now that can not seem to grasp this crazy concept. NO ONE wants to spend 20 minutes of their workout time picking up after someone else too lazy or inconsiderate to do it for themselves. Do better.
Oh, and there is no reason to lean your weights against the walls. Rack them. We would hate to have to put a higher age limit on memberships but it's getting closer to that every day the disrespect gets worse.

If you gain access to our gym without a valid membership, you are trespassing and will be treated accordingly. This gym was started because we love being able to provide this to the communities they are in. But it is not our full-time job. Because people are abusing it, it has created a hassle that we don't need to have. If you love this gym and you see someone sneaking others in, contact us or deal with it yourself. It's YOUR gym too (if you have a valid membership). We would really hate to have to close it due to the stupidity and selfishness of others.

This has been a trying time for our family. We have multiple health emergencies going on at the same time. We appreciate your patience as we are struggling to meet the demands of the gym members. We will try to get to everything that is needed as soon as possible. Please spread the word for us. Thank you all.

This is a post we never thought we'd have to make, but here we are....

PLEASE DO NOT PERFORM YOUR MANICURE/PEDICURE GROOMING RITUALS AT THE GYM. We love that you are comfortable enough in the facility to feel 'at home' but you are not at home. Our very amazing cleaning woman is finding the evidence of such activities on a regular basis and it needs to end. Also, please do not leave any nasal drainage on the equipment, walls or floors for the same reason stated above.

Bedford gym members...stop doing this. If you want a crummy place to workout, then keep this up. There are spots for every single plate weight....stop leaning them against the wall, destroying them. If this continues, members caught doing this will face suspension. We don't like complaining but come on....have some respect and show it to other's property and your fellow gym members. Now, crush your goals and not our walls! 💪

Gym members:

It has been brought to our attention that not everyone is cleaning their equipment after use. Please do so, as we have some higher risk members that are trying to keep as healthy and active as much as they can during this time.

Clean up after yourself, don't let others in the door unless they have a code to use, and have some personal integrity.
