Our latest map, Dark Skies, unlocks a tremendously remote landscape in Potter County Pennsylvania in the The Pennsylvania Wilds south of Pennsylvania Route 6 all the way south to Renovo. It’s one of the most complex and fascinating maps we’ve ever made! Have you been there yet?

Our newest map of Susquehannock Forest includes both the Susquehannock Trail System and the Bucktail Path in Elk Forest District, two great backpacking trails in The PA Wilds! With US Route 6 in Pennsylvania traversing the northern part of the map, this map unlocks so many places for you to explore!

Mike was very excited to visit Gifford Pinchot’s personal library and find his 1800s era globe on our tour of Grey Towers in Milford PA. This is a National Historic Site on US Route 6 in Pennsylvania and we’ll be back to explore it some more!

We’ve had a whirlwind trip in the Catskills meeting with the good people of the Woodstock Land Conservancy and Open Space Institute in Ulster County NY. We’re designing new maps of the Ashokan Rail Trail and a ‘Vision Map’ of the future possibilities of connections between Woodstock, Kingston and the Empire Trail.

We loved attending the 2026 Champion of the Pennsylvania Wilds Award Banquet last week in DuBois. There are so many people doing great work in the Wilds!
