Huge thank you to Tom Riley and Riley Enterprises for building the inside of the dugouts in time for the home opener next week! Yet another example of this unique community project coming to fruition, thanks to generous support and interest!

It smells like baseball today, so here’s a quick Field House update!

The building is now complete and “air tight,” as they say. Major sponsor signage is up on the building, and all sponsorship banner signage to date is installed along the first- and third-base line fences. The new scoreboard is hanging and ready to be connected once construction is fully finished. The dugouts are complete, and I’m meeting with someone this weeks in hopes of getting the benches installed before the season starts-just in time as the snow melts!

We’re still raising funds to finish outfitting the inside of the building with flooring, cabinets, and basic concessions. We need about $30–40K more to bring the project to its full potential.
In the final phase, we’ll landscape around the building with fundraising bricks, donation plaques, benches, and picnic tables, once we know construction trucks won’t be driving through the area anymore.

What a summer for Bedford baseball! Bedford Little League 12’s, American Legion Seniors, and American Legion Juniors have all brought home state titles—and the Juniors kept rolling with a sectional championship last weekend. How exciting was it to watch BLL on ESPN? American Legion Preps hit the field tonight and later this week.

This winning tradition is exactly why our fields deserve top-notch facilities. Thanks to so many generous sponsors and donors, the new fieldhouse—right in the heart of town—is now airtight. Next up: outfitting the inside, finishing the landscaping, and raising the scoreboard.
