People think CrossFit is dangerous.

Here’s the question nobody asks:
How do CrossFit Games athletes train year after year without getting taken out?

They move heavy weight, fast, under fatigue.
And they don’t stay in the game by getting lucky.
They stay in it with injury prevention, better mechanics, and smart modifications when something isn’t right.

On September 9th at 6 PM, at Club 600 in Bedford, we’re bringing in Dr. Sean Rockett: Boston orthopedic surgeon and CrossFit Games physician since 2012. Sean Rockett

He’ll show you how to train hard, stay durable, and how to work around an injury without losing progress. Link to register is in the bio

If you train consistently, you already know the real goal is not a perfect week of workouts. but staying healthy enough to keep training month after month.

That’s why we’re bringing in a guest you almost never get direct access to inside a fitness facility - Dr. Sean Rockett Sean Rockett - a highly respected orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist, and he is coming to Club 600 for a live Injury Prevention Seminar + Q&A.

Dr. Rockett is a Boston orthopedic surgeon and longtime member of the CrossFit community with a rare understanding of athletes and active adults who want to keep training while also protecting their bodies.

He has worked extensively with CrossFit athletes and has served in an orthopedic medical role supporting CrossFit Games athletes - including being the CrossFit Games physician since 2012. He is also the author of “Where does it hurt.” Rogue Fitness

The Seminar is for any individual who wants to learn:

Why common training injuries happen and how to prevent them

How to tell the difference between normal soreness and pain you should not ignore

What to do when something starts hurting (before it becomes a real injury)

How to modify movements so you can continue training safely

Common shoulder, knee, hip, and back issues in active adults

When you can safely work through an issue vs. when it’s time to have it evaluated

Bring your questions, especially if you have an ache, pain, or recurring issue you’ve been unsure about. LINK TO REGISTER IS IN BIO
