Beckley(WV)16 AllStars Stymied By Eau Claire A's Blue 15U

Beckley(WV)16 AllStars couldn't keep up with Eau Claire A's Blue 15U and fell 10-0 on Sunday.

Eau Claire A's Blue 15U opened the scoring in the top of the first thanks to two singles. Eau Claire A's Blue 15U first got on the board when James Radabaugh singled, scoring one run.

Eau Claire A's Blue 15U added to their early lead in the top of the third inning after Dylan Plets tripled, and Radabaugh singled, each scoring one run.

Alex Johnson earned the win for Eau Claire A's Blue 15U. The righty surrendered two hits and zero runs over six innings, striking out five and walking two. Sam Barnett took the loss for Beckley(WV)16 AllStars. The righty went two and one-third innings, giving up four runs on six hits, striking out six and walking one.

Tyler Wilhite and Barnett each collected one hit for Beckley(WV)16 AllStars.

Eau Claire A's Blue 15U tallied 13 hits in the game. Plets led Eau Claire A's Blue 15U with four runs batted in. The left fielder went 4-for-4 on the day. Gavin Dean and Radabaugh each collected multiple hits for Eau Claire A's Blue 15U.

Beckley(WV)16 AllStars Surge Past Babe Ruth 15/16U All Stars Thanks To Big First Inning

Beckley(WV)16 AllStars defeated Babe Ruth 15/16U All Stars 16-1 on Saturday thanks in part to 14 runs in the first inning. Levi Barnett singled, scoring two runs, Brady Williams drew a walk, scoring one run, Parker Williams drew a walk, scoring one run, Jacob Claypool hit a sacrifice fly, scoring two runs, Kayden Quesenberry singled, scoring one run, Maddex Sims drew a walk, scoring one run, Barnett singled, scoring two runs, Noah Fox singled, scoring two runs, Claypool singled, scoring one run, and Aiden Scarbrough drew a walk, scoring one run.

Beckley(WV)16 AllStars extended their early lead with two runs in the bottom of the second thanks to RBI walks by Williams and Fox.

Quesenberry earned the win for Beckley(WV)16 AllStars. The southpaw surrendered one hit and one run (zero earned) over two innings, striking out five and walking none. Adrian Montano took the loss for Babe Ruth 15/16U All Stars. The reliever went one inning, allowing zero runs on zero hits, striking out none and walking two. Julian Sharp started on the hill for Babe Ruth 15/16U All Stars. The righty allowed seven hits and 14 runs (13 earned) over one-third of an inning, striking out none and walking nine. Fox threw one inning of no-run ball for Beckley(WV)16 AllStars in relief. The reliever allowed zero hits, striking out one and walking none.

Barnett provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Beckley(WV)16 AllStars with three runs batted in. The number three hitter went 2-for-2 on the day. Williams paced Beckley(WV)16 AllStars with three walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, tallying 13 walks for the game. Tyler Wilhite stole two bases.

Ezekiel Castillo led Babe Ruth 15/16U All Stars with one run batted in. The right-handed hitter went 1-for-1 on the day.

Beckley(WV)16 AllStars Trounce Eau Claire Black

Beckley(WV)16 AllStars won big over Eau Claire Black 14-4 on Friday.

Beckley(WV)16 AllStars opened the scoring in the first after Brady Williams singled, scoring one run.

Oliver Smith singled, which helped Eau Claire Black tie the game at one in the bottom of the second.

Beckley(WV)16 AllStars jumped into the lead in the top of the third when Maddex Sims doubled, scoring one run, Williams singled, scoring one run, and Parker Williams singled, scoring two runs.

Beckley(WV)16 AllStars scored five runs on six hits in the top of the fourth inning. Sam Barnett singled, scoring one run, Williams singled, scoring one run, Levi Barnett singled, scoring one run, Williams singled, scoring one run, and Austin Long drew a walk, scoring one run.

Williams earned the win for Beckley(WV)16 AllStars. They surrendered four hits and three runs (one earned) over two and two-thirds innings, striking out seven and walking none. Smith stepped on the bump first for Eau Claire Black. They allowed 14 hits and 10 runs (eight earned) over three and two-thirds innings, striking out three and walking four. Tyler Wilhite collected the save.

Beckley(WV)16 AllStars piled up 14 hits in the game. Williams led Beckley(WV)16 AllStars with four runs batted in. They went 2-for-4 on the day. Williams went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Beckley(WV)16 AllStars in hits. Wilhite, Drew Gallaher, and Barnett each collected multiple hits for Beckley(WV)16 AllStars. Beckley(WV)16 AllStars had a strong eye at the plate, collecting six walks for the game.

Riley Herman and Smith each drove in one run for Eau Claire Black.
