All done emptying the school. It's the end of an era, but the legacy will live on. I'll always remember the good times I had with my students, their families, and the many friends I have had the pleasure to have met since Master Kim's Black Belt Academy came to be.
Many thanks to all of you.who helped me in any way, to make Master Kim's a special place where people could train together in a safe, family friendly atmosphere. From day one of starting my school, up until today, the day I closed the door for the last time, it has been a great ride. I'll think back and remember the good times we shared and the memories we made!

Last night was a very memorable night at The Academy. I had a blast leading the last class before I retired. People I have not seen in a very long time came to enjoy a great time together working out and sharing stories from the past. Like I said before, I'm very fortunate to have met such wonderful people.
Afterwards we kept the good times rolling at Union Jacks Congo Hotel where I was surprised again to see Stefan and the, Bobby, both of whom I had not seen in years. The good times kept rolling as we all reconnected with friends both past and present. May our paths cross again once I'm retired!!!!!

Well, here we are. This is the last day for classes at Master Kim's Black Belt Academy. I hope to see as many of you in class as possible. Whether you are a current student or trained with me in the past, I would enjoy seeing you again. If you don't want to work out, stop in for a visit and see people that you have not seen in a long time. If you don't have a uniform, or the one you have doesn't fit anymore, that's fine. Wear your workout clothes and join us for one last time. I'm looking forward to packing The Academy and enjoying working out with you all!

Hi Gang,
Just a few more days, and I'll be retired. I have truly enjoyed running my school for the past 28 1/2 years. I remember thinking "I wish I had a years of experience as a school owner." Crazy how time flies. I'm now at the other end of my career as a school owner. I have been very fortunate to have been able to teach and serve so many wonderful people. I want to thank you all for your support and love since I opened Master Kim's black belt Academy. As with anything, there have been some difficult challenges along the way. however, I'm happy to say that the plusses far outnumber the minuses, and it's been a great ride.
This Thursday, March 30thwill be the last day of classes. If you are a current student, or a past student, I'd enjoy seeing you one last time in class. If you don't want to take class, that's fine; feel free to stop and visit and catch up with everyone who shows up.
Friday and Saturday will be the time I'll be moving out. If any of you are available to lend a helping hand, I'd appreciate any help I can get. I'll be here around 10:00 am both days.
For those of you who are purchasing items that I needed until the last day, please pick them up as soon as you can. We can make the necessary arrangements when I see you the next time. There is still some FREE STUFF available at a first come first serve basis. What doesn't get taken or purchased, I'll put in the storage garage next to The Academy.
Once again, sincere thanks to all of you who I have had the pleasure to know and/or train with or who supported The Academy in any way. You have my sincerest wishes for good health, happiness, and prosperity in everything you do.

Hi Gang!
There's only two weeks left before I retire and Close the Academy. This Thursday, March 23rd. Mrs. Reed will be here to teach her famous Rocky Workout. Whether you are currently enrolled, or a past student, you are welcome to come and join you friends at Master Kim's for a fun filled energetic workout. This will be the last Rocky Workout, so come in and see your friends and have a great time working out together. It's sure to be a blast!

Hi Gang,

The for me to retire is quickly approaching, so I thought I'd drop you a line. I want to thank everyone who has contacted me in one way or another since I announced my upcoming retirement. It has truly been my pleasure to know and serve everyone I've come to know since I opened Master Kim's Black Belt Academy.

Before I close the doors, I still have some items for sale at great prices. For those of you who are going to continue training at another place, all of the foam sparring gear left is on sale for $15.00 per item. I have a few smaller items, such as mouthpieces, cases, cup/supporters, as well. There are still a few punching pads and shields left. I'm will also be selling storage bins, and office equipment. I'll also be giving away organizers, pens, pencils, office organizers, notebook binders for free. If any one wants one of the desks, they're free too. As I clear out the office, I'll be putting items that you can have where you can just pick them up.

The last day of classes is still scheduled for Thursday, March 30th. Due to an insurance mix up, I almost had to close a day earlier. That has since been fixed, so the last day remains the 30th. Some of you have been students, but are not currently training. I'd enjoy seeing you again, so you are welcome to take classes during the time I have left before I retire and close the Academy. If you don't have a uniform, feel free to take classes in comfortable workout clothes.

From the bottom of my heart, many thanks to all of you who I have met since I opened the doors to Master Kim's, for all of the love and support you have given to me and the members of Master Kim's Black Belt Academy.

Hi Gang! The daytime Adult Class for tomorrow, February 15th is cancelled. I have a doctor appointment, and will not be able to get back in time for class. All other classes will be taught as usual. Have a great day!

Great weather out there, eh?! Well, maybe not so much. If you are out and about, whether doing shopping, chores, or anything else, be careful.

During the Holiday Season the Academy will be closed on the following days. For Christmas we will be closed from Friday, December 23rd through Monday, December 26th. We will resume classes again on Tuesday, December 27th.

For the New Year, we will be closed from Friday, December 30th through, Monday, January 2nd. Classes will resume on Tuesday, January3rd.

If you miss any classes because we are closed, you may make them up whenever you want.

Have a safe and Happy Holiday Season everyone! I know I will!

Hi Everyone!
I need to let you know that The Academy will be closed a little longer than usual this Turkey Day. Since I'll be spending Thanksgiving with friends in New Mexico, The Academy will be closed on Thursday, November 24th, and will reopen on Wednesday, November 30th. If you miss any classes because we are closed, you may make them up whenever you want. Until later, have a great Thanksgiving, and as always, be safe!

I'm sorry for the late notice, but I have to cancel classes tomorrow, Saturday Sept. 16th. We will reopen on Monday the 18th. If you miss class you may make it up whenever you want.
