It features six indoor sport courts, a walking/jogging track, and a variety of youth/adult sports leagues. The Tualatin Hills Athletic Center is the hub of THPRD's sports activities. The center features six indoor and four outdoor basketball courts as well as the only public indoor walking/jogging track in Beaverton, OR. Our indoor basketball courts are scheduled daily for various drop-in activiti

es, including basketball, volleyball, badminton, pickleball, and table tennis. Thursday evenings include a drop-in basketball program for teens and adults (ages 13+) with developmental disabilities. The staff at the Tualatin Hills Athletic Center manages youth and adult leagues, and works with affiliate leagues and the Beaverton School District to allocate more than 300 fields within the district. This facility offers a variety of programs including recreational classes such as art classes and preschool preparation programs. Special tournaments and events, including an Adult Bubble Soccer Tournament and Teen Extreme Egg Hunt.

We are less than 1 week away Tualatin Hills Park and Recreation District's 2nd annual Move for Mental Health 5K & 1K Fun Run happening Sunday, May 3rd at 9am on the HMT Complex! We are thrilled to have you join us as we kick off Mental Health Awareness Month! Please read this guide carefully to prepare for race day.

Race Day Schedule 🕘
8:45 am - Event Hub opens
9:00 am - 1K START
9:35 am - 5K warm-up led by a certified personal trainer
9:45 am - 5K START
11:00 am - Event Hub closes

Hydration Station/Restrooms💧
We're expecting a warm, sunny day, please bring your own water bottle. We will have jugs of ice water located next to the fitness booth to refill your water bottles as well as paper cups for anybody who wishes to use those instead. Restrooms are located on either side of the concessions stand.

Event Hub 🎊
Located at the softball concession stand you will find our booming and energetic Event Hub! With a variety of community partners like Quimson Behavioral Health, Cedar Mill Library, and My Fit Foods, and activities for the whole family, be sure to spend some time before or after your race start time! After you complete your race, make sure to stop by the Fitness booth for your 2026 Move for Mental Health swag bag.

Parking Info 🚗
We encourage you to park in the softball lot, located on the south end of the main campus. Entrance can be found off Walker Rd. using the same street as the entrance to Jasper Square Apartments.

Race Map 👟
The 1K and 5K racecourse will be contained to the Howard M. Terpenning Recreation Complex campus. Please note both courses will feature TWO (2) laps. Volunteers, event staff, and ground markings will help guide and motivate you along your way to the finish line!
