Yesterday we hosted our DEKA Mile and DEKA Atlas event, and this room showed up ready to work.

From Meridian, ID to Yakima, WA to Eugene, OR, you drove, you traveled, you showed up early and left it all on the floor.

This is what community looks like. Strangers becoming teammates mid-workout. Strangers becoming friends by the final rep. The kind of shared dedication that turns into pure joy the second you cross that finish line.

To every competitor who pushed past what they thought they could do, we are proud of you.

To DEKA Fit for building a format that tests grit, not just fitness.

To our volunteers who kept this thing running smooth from first rep to last, you are the backbone of this event.

As we celebrate Christmas, we’re reminded of the heart behind this season, the gift of our Lord Jesus Christ.

“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” — Isaiah 9:6

This verse is a promise and a reminder that hope showed up when the world needed it most. That strength can come wrapped in humility. That peace is possible even in busy, heavy, uncertain seasons.

Just like fitness, faith isn’t built in a single moment. It’s built daily through discipline, community, and choosing to show up even when it’s hard. And that’s what makes this place more than a gym. It’s a family that lifts each other, prays for each other, laughs together, and keeps going together.

This Christmas, our prayer for you is simple:
That you feel seen.
That you feel strong.
That you feel at peace.
