🏈 INTRODUCING OUR NEW 8U Bobcats Head Coach! 🏈

Hello everyone I am Coach Shamar (coach marr)!! This is my 8th year coaching!! I’ve grown up playing and watching football since I could walk. I am HUGE BRONCOS FAN!! Throughout high school I was a standout athlete, making multiple district teams for football as well as winning a regional championship!! I also ran track, I was highly ranked in the state all 4 years of school also winning a State Championship!

My coaching journey started when I was still in school. I’ve won 7 championships in the 8 years I’ve been coaching I’ve lost a few along the road. I’ve coached just about every age group but I will be coaching our 8u group!!

I’ve spent my time developing athletes not just physically, but mentally. On the football field, I focus on fundamentals, teamwork, and toughness—teaching players how to trust each other and execute under pressure! I live by the motto
B.A.M= Be A Man

What drives me as a coach is seeing growth. Not just wins, but progress—watching an athlete get faster, stronger, more confident, and more disciplined. I take pride in pushing my athletes while also supporting them, making sure they know someone believes in them.

My goal is bigger than sports. I want every athlete I coach to leave with life skills—accountability, resilience, and the mindset to succeed in anything they pursue.

This is more than coaching for me—it’s about making an impact.

📣 Meet Maddy — Beaverdam Bobcats Youth Cheer Commissioner & Coach! 🐾💛🖤

Cheer has been part of my life since I was 4 years old and never stopped being my passion!

From cheering ages 4–18, starting with All American Cheer, to representing Liberty Middle School and spending 2 years cheering at Patrick Henry, the love for the sport has always stayed strong.

Now I’m proud to give back to the next generation as a BYL Cheer Coach (4 years) and stepping into my role as BYL Cheer Commissioner (1 year) — helping athletes build confidence, teamwork, and Bobcat pride both on and off the field.
