The OSYSS and the Bales Arena family extends our deepest condolences to the entire Bales family on the passing of Charles Bales.

Charles was much more than a supporter of our mission. He was one of the people who helped make Bales Arena a reality from the very beginning. He spent countless hours doing the hard, hands-on work to get the building up and running, and he proudly served on our very first Board of Directors. His dedication, generosity, and belief in what this facility could become helped lay the foundation for the impact Bales Arena continues to have on our community today.

We are incredibly grateful to Charles and the entire Bales family for their support over the years.

Ohio South Youth Sports Space, better known as Bales Arena, is a 501c3 nonprofit-owned and operated community facility dedicated to serving local athletes and families. We are currently raising funds for an exciting expansion project to add two additional courts to our existing facility.

This renovation will allow us to become a more efficient multi-sport venue, increasing opportunities for practices, games, tournaments, and community events while better meeting the growing needs of youth sports in our area.
