A little over 14 years ago I bought this run down old house on 75 acres about 2 hours south of Columbus. Over the next 10+ years dad and I would drive down at least twice a month and work on our “project” at the time. From totally gutting the house and remodeling to building the pond and bridge over Pecks Creek to building the shed we were never without things we wanted to do or build.

In 2016 I decided to allow hunters to come and Peck Creek lodge was created. Over the course of the next 8 years >200 guys (and a couple ladies) came for 🦌 season. We met some great people and hopefully lifelong friends (Matthew Tourville, Craig Haines, Josh Merryfield and the Syracuse boys).

I also couldn’t have asked for better neighbors. David and Julie Thornsbury are amazing people. As are Carla and Ed Salsbury!

Yesterday closed the chapter on Pecks Creek Lodge as it has now been sold to another couple looking to create their own memories.

Thanks everyone who helped dad and I make memories! Hopefully I’ll be able to see many of you again!

Finally I want to thank my dad (aka Big Ed) for being with me throughout the journey and creating so many memories. Oh the stories we have!

Trail camera pics from the past couple weeks... couple nice 8's and a 10 running around. My piebald sweetie is still hanging out. Rut should begin any day now.

Property is still for sale with a couple interested parties, however most likely won't close before season is over.

Still have openings (for 2 hunters) for gun and muzzleloader.

Finally got a chance to pull some trail cam pictures and refill all the feeders. Looks like there are 4-5 "shooters" and a lot of 4s, 6s and immature 8s.

Filled 4 feeders and put out 5 trail cameras 2 weeks ago. Only 1 of the cell cameras is sending pictures 🤦🏻.

I still have spots for bow rut 1st and 2nd week of November as well as gun.

3 hunters max for bow, 2 for gun. 75 acres of huntable land in the middle of unhunted @500 acres.

6 nights/5 days hunting (Sunday-Thursday)

3 bedroom fully furnished house.
Everything included but food.

While the Pecks Creek Lodge property is for sale, it just fell out of contract so it looks like best scenario it won’t sell before deer season is over.

This weekend I filled 4 feeders and put out 4 trail cameras.

Therefore I’m offering the following hunts…

Bow Rut
Nov 2-7 (6nights-5days). Arrive Saturday, hunt Sunday-Friday.

Nov 9-14 (6nights-5days). Arrive Saturday, hunt Sunday-Friday.

$1200 per person- 3 hunters max.

Includes lodging, stands. Food plots and feeders in place.

75 acres in the middle of a 500 acre woods that is not hunted.

Couple nice 10pt and 8pt roaming the back yard. With another 4-6 weeks of horn growth yet these boys should be nice to watch all winter.
