Thank you to Beaver Local Trap Team for hosting a great event today for our team members to participate in. The 2026 Beaver Local Trap Team Shootout. Despite the rain & stormy weather our team enjoyed the event. Our team overall tied for 2nd Place. We had Jaxson Gooch finish 1st Place in JV Division and Lucas Myers winning the shoot off for 3rd Place Varsity. The Annie Oakley competition was a tough battle to the end with Wes Scott edging out Celeste Krut for the final shot.

I would like to send out a huge THANK YOU to all of the coaches, athletes, families, sponsors & community. The dedication and support of our team over the past 5 years has been overwhelming and humbling.
Congratulations to all the kids who have put in countless rounds and kept pushing to become the best they can be in the sport. The hard work does not go unnoticed.

These past 2 weeks have been crazy, busy for the Blackhawk Clay Target Team but has produced some amazing results for our team members. Following up last week's success at USA Clay Target League National Championship in Mason, MI, this week some of our athletes attended the SCTP National Championship in Marengo, OH.

We had 2 of our team members get their 1st ever 100 Straight at this event. Jackson Cuddy & Celeste Krut!

Our Doubles Intermediate/Entry Team took 1st Place with a score of 788 with squad members Lucas Myers, Jack Parish, Franco Cervone, Aliza Bruce & Davina Krut

Our Doubles Senior/Jr Varsity Team took 1st Place with a score of 828 with squad members Nathan Myers, Jackson Cuddy, Landon Young, Celeste Krut & Gabby Schiefelbein.

Also for Individual Doubles, Lucas Myers took 1st Place in his division along with Jack Parish taking 2nd Place.

Our Handicap Intermediate/Entry Team took 1st Place with a score of 845 with squad members Lucas Myers, Aliza Bruce, Franco Cervone, Jack Parish & Davina Krut.

Also in Handicap Lucas Myers took 1st Place Overall with a score of 196.

Our Handicap Senior/JV Team took 1st Place with a score of 849 with squad members Nathan Myers, Celeste Krut, Landon Young, Jackson Cuddy & Gabby Schiefelbein.

For Individual Handicap in the Senior/Jr Varsity Female Division 25 yd. line Celeste Krut took 2nd Place with a 172 and Aliza Bruce took 2nd place in Female Intermediate/Entry 21 yd. line with a 173

For 200 Trap Singles-
Our Intermediate/Entry team took 1st Place with a score of 905 with squad members Lucas Myers, Jack Parish, Franco Cervone, Davina Krut & Bryar Krut.

Our Senior/Jr Varsity team took 2nd Place with a score of 946 with squad members Celeste Krut, Jackson Cuddy, Gabby Schiefelbein, Landon Young & Nathan Myers.

Individual awards for 200 Trap Singles went to:
Celeste Krut- 2nd Place Ladies Senior/Jr Varsity with an overall score of 198
Gabby Schiefelbein- 3rd Place Ladies Senior/Jr Varsity with an overall score of 193

Lucas Myers-4th Place Intermediate/Entry with an overall score of 195

Also topping out the Top 100 of all shooters Male & Female, all age divisions were:
Celeste Krut- 17th Place with a score of 198
Jackson Cuddy- 79th with a score of 196

These are amazing accomplishments for all of these kids with the Level of skill & talent displayed at this National Championship from students from one end of the US to the other!

Thank you to all of the parents, coaches, family members & sponsors that help make all of this possible for the kids, they have had an amazing season!

This weekend our Blackhawk Clay Target Team competed in the USA Clay Target League National Championship both for the team event and Individuals.

Our Individual athletes that participated, all qualified 1st Tier for the Invite Only event were, Landon Young, Celeste Krut, Jackson Cuddy, Lucas Myers, Jack Parish, Nathan Myers, Aliza Bruce, Wes Scott, Alana Geibel & Davina Krut.

Our team squad consisted of Celeste Krut, Jack Parish, Jackson Cuddy, Lucas Myers & Landon Young.

Today our team squad competed in the Final Round and finished with a 483/500 finishing in 8th Place out of a total of 234 teams in the Nation. We were only 2 birds from the 1st Place winners with 485/500. Celeste-98, Lucas-98, Jack-97, Jackson-96 & Landon-94.

We also had 3 team members compete in the individual Finals Competition today, Jackson Cuddy, Wes Scott & Alana Geibel. Jackson finished with a 98/100, Alana finished with 97/100, coming in 11th place for Females & Wes finished with 95/100.

A huge congratulations to all of our athletes & they should be proud to compete on this level. A big thank you to all of the coaches & families that help support these kids hard work!
