Yesterday, Conie and I raced in the Aztalan Cycle Club GP.
Conie rode the womenβs class. In her first moto she was nervous but she made it through and finished the 25min moto.
2nd moto Ryan Hegge and I did some suspension changes and got her more comfortable on the bike and she had a lot smother moto and was able to push her personal limits and even get her wheels of the ground on a couple of jumps! She finished the day with a 3/3 overall and brought some cool hardware home. Great job Conie just making it through and finishing the motos is a win!
For my first moto I had a really good dead engine start and was 2nd coming out of the first turn and for the rest of the moto I was making little mistakes throughout the moto and it brought me back to 6th place.
2nd moto did some bike changes and was able to pull a hole shot and rode a lot better and felt better but I killed the bike 2 times in the moto and it cost me a lot of positions and end up with a 7th.
We had a lot of fun and the track was awesome great job Aztalan Cycle Club and thank you. Conie gained a lot of confidence and Iβm going to keep digging I really would like to get a top 3 this season.
