Teenage Driver Indicted and Arrested on Six Counts of Felony Aggravated Assault

The 16 year old son of Waller, TX’s Jason and Jennifer Arnold who used his parents’ black F-250 to plow into our 6 cyclist clients and friends - who were more than 70 miles into a training ride in preparation for Ironman Texas on the morning of Saturday, September 25th, 2021 on Business 290 East in Waller, Texas - HAS OFFICIALLY BEEN INDICTED AND TAKEN INTO CUSTODY ON SIX COUNTS OF FELONY AGGRAVATED ASSAULT WITH A DEADLY WEAPON - one for each of the people he almost killed with his reckless and violent behavior behind the wheel.

Family & friend oriented. Every time I’ve ridden past, if there is more than one person / group there, there is patience & sharing. This evening dad was showing the boys a thing or two.

You’ll never see the gym thru the same eyes after watching this. This is the “amazingest” aspect of “pro” cycling. Watch to the end- the take outs are equally fantastic.
Years ago our shop shared a parking lot w a restaurant. Scott Olson rode like this.
Time to go.
Shops closed.
Scott’s on his bike hopping over a big fat Harley Davidson. No ramp. Just ride up and hop. Back and forth several times. Never touched the bike.
I sat -n- watched in dis-belief.
Finally the big fat Harley Owner came out and said, “As much as I can’t believe what I’m seeing, I’m trying to eat here. Do you mind? Please, find something else to jump.”
35 years ago when people were still polite . . . Enjoy the video. Oh, notice how tough the bicycle is. We’ve got bikes that are this tough.
