Firecrackers 98 ~ Brashear The Firecrackers girls fastpitch softball organization was formed in 1990.

The Firecrackers organization is dedicated to the progressive advancement of players both as athletes and young ladies. It is our goal as an organization to teach our players important life lessons through the game of softball, such as discipline, hard work, commitment, perseverance and the value of teamwork.

Before you ask me why my legs are bruised, my knees are scared and my nails are broken. Realize I hit the drop ball, take the shot at home plate and swing for the fence. I don't play with Barbie’s and I don't jump rope. If the game were easy, I wouldn't play. 2 teams, 4 bases, 7 innings, 1 game...FASTPITCH SOFTBALL

Recognition by Assembly Woman Norma Torres at her district office in Chino. And at the Chino City Hall meeting - Mayor Yates recognized the Firecrackers, 12U Softball Team for winning the Amateur Softball Association’s 2011 National Championship. Mayor Yates accompanied by Heather Rouhana representing Congressman Gary Miller and David Monroy representing Senator Bob Huff presented certificates of recognition to Coach Rob Wishner; Manager Sean Brashear; Assistant Coaches; and players.
