Pouring everything I know into the next generation. ⚾️

I want to see baseball and softball in the Lowcountry thrive. I want kids from this area going on to play varsity, college, and professional baseball year after year. Not just today, but 5, 10, and 15 years from now. That’s the vision behind Hitters University.

Coaching 9U baseball has been a new experience for me, but one that has genuinely made me a better coach and reminded me why I fell in love with this game in the first place.

At this age, baseball is about as pure as it gets. These boys aren’t thinking about scholarships, or trying to make millions of dollars. They’re out there competing alongside their friends, trying to win, and playing a game they simply LOVE.

And throughout this process these kids have brought back a piece of my own love for the game & coaching this group of boys has been one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve had in the game.

I’m proud of this group, & the progress they’re making, and even more excited about who they’re becoming.

Give this group a couple of years. I truly believe they’re going to do some special things in this region.
