East, which is 8-0 in the 1A/2A Coastal Plains Conference, captured five triumphs in seven days and eight wins in 15 days.
In the last seven days, the Mariners have beaten Southside 12-0, Jacksonville 7-2, Southside 8-4 and Dixon 12-8.
Following a three-game losing streak in mid-March, they have gone 15-1.
