ATTENTION! I had a cancellation for July 12 th. I am open for charter that date which happens to be the same day as our 1 day Red snapper season. We Will target the grown ones and then top the catch off with other fine eating bottom dwellers. Price is $1600.oo for up to 5 anglers. Don't miss out on this one.

Well everybody, with the weather getting warmer the phone is getting busier. 2020 was a roller coaster of a year full of COVID challenges, Governor's orders and all that mess. 2021 is gonna be another year full of fun and full freezers aboard the Procastinator. Call to book your date before it is too late. The boat is getting a bit of TLC and will be back in her slip within the next 2 weeks. Give me a shout if ya wanna crank on some fish.

Here is the Official determination that Charter Fishing Businesses are deemed nonessential in North Carolina. Looks like myself as well as every other Charter needs to be tied to the dock. I am also aware of another very professional Charter Captain that petitioned the state as I did and came up with the same result. The State has said that I can continue to operate as long as I adhere to social distancing requirements and other requirements set forth in executive orders #121 and #131. There is no possible way to meet those requirements on my vessel, or any other charter boat that i can think of. I will do the right thing, abide by the current set of laws and regulations, no matter how silly they are, and operate in a professional manner by not running charters. I hope when this is all over the customers will recognize the Captains that put their customer's safety and the law ahead of their bottom line and book a trip. I also hope those same customers look at the action of those Captain's still running charters and ask themselves the question. If the Captain is more concerned about money than the law and my safety, why should I trust him with my life and money?

COVID-19 Update. Well, April is one of my favorite times of the year to go out catching, however, 2020 had different plans. I have cancelled all booked dates in April as many of you already know. We hope to be back up and running as soon as we are legally able to do so. We consider your safety as a top priority and intend to follow all governmental restrictions and recommendations. Lets face it, there is no way to practice safe social distancing requirements while on a boat, even on the wide open Seacraft. There has been much confusing and just flat out wrong discussion about the legality of running Charters on Social media, and trust me if I could legally and safely run trips you all would be seeing a pile of dead fish pictures almost daily. Hopefully everybody stays safe, puts this horrid mess behind us all, and we all get back to work as soon as possible. Thanks for your patience and understanding, and hopefully we will have ya all back aboard soon.
