2 quick weeks comes to an end! It was my first time in Gottardo and my mind is blown 🤯 I would have climbed every day if not for my skin and baby muscles 😂🥲 in the end I had to do 1:1 day on/day off but it was soooo fun.

It can be intimidating going on a trip solo but this time the community was honestly my trip highlight. Huge thanks to my personal tour guide, beta encyclopedia, pad porter, and videographer ✨🤝 he’s making a little video edit with some of the highlights (including Hazel Grace) too so yay!

😮‍💨 “why don’t you just ignore them?”

I refuse to accept this behavior as normal and tolerable. I want climbing to feel safe for everyone. I know that some of these may feel extreme/outliers but they are part of a cumulative effect. These behaviors are not okay on any level and shouldn’t have a place in climbing in any capacity.

Climbing has long had the habit of silencing hard conversations and any of these comments could be the stepping stone to a larger dialogue.
