Shotgun Update

With the rain that has already fallen and additional rain expected this afternoon, we have made the decision to suspend play for the remainder of today's round.

Play will resume tomorrow morning at 8:00 AM, with all groups returning to the course and picking up exactly where they left off today. The second round will be played continuously following the completion of Round 1, and you will remain with your Thursday scramble group for the entire day on Friday.

Your Round 2 scorecard will be placed on your cart before play resumes. Once you complete the remainder of your first round, simply switch scorecards and continue directly into Round 2.

Dinner will still begin at 7:00 PM as scheduled this evening, and the Calcutta will commence at 7:30 PM.

We appreciate everyone's patience and flexibility as we work through the weather. We look forward to seeing everyone tonight for dinner and the Calcutta, and tomorrow morning at 8:00 AM.

Effective Saturday, September 13, 2025 at the close of business, the Black Rock Grille will discontinue food service. This is a difficult decision, but after careful review it’s a necessary financial step to ensure the long-term strength and future viability of the Beatrice Country Club’s primary focus, golf. The golf course and Pro Shop operations will be unaffected by this decision.

Here are a few important details:

• The bar will remain open during golfing hours. Further information regarding the bar operations and any additional services will be forthcoming.

• The Banquet Room will continue to be available for events, and outside catering will be welcomed for those occasions. Please get in touch with the Pro Shop to Reserve your future events.

• The board is actively evaluating options for the future of the food service and dining at the Beatrice Country Club.
