Beatrice House of Orange Complex

Beatrice House of Orange Complex Outdoor activities complex serving Beatrice Public Schools and the area community. Weather durability will be an outstanding feature of the track system.

The new, state-of-the-art out-door complex located next to the high school will provide facilities for recreational, athletic, cultural, and educational activities and performances.

• Stadium Seating- 1,800 seat, two-tier seating on the west side of the stadium will be reserved for the home fans. An additional 600 seats will be located on the east side of the stadium for fans of visiting teams.

• Terraced Grass Berms- Located on both sides of the main grandstand, the berms will provide additional seating for all events.

• Sportexe Turf SystemTM- High performance synthetic turf will make up the playing field. This turf will maximize player speed and performance, resemble lush natural grass, and be much easier to maintain than alternative surfaces. The turf will be lined to accommodate football and FIFA soccer players.

• Track and Field- An eight-lane, 400 meter polyurethane-based track system will surround the athletic field. The paved-in-place rubber mat allows for exceptional shock absorption and much safer long-term training. The complex will accommodate all field events (high jump, long & triple jump, shot put, discus, and pole vault).

• Press box, Concessions, and Restrooms - These amenities will be located in a 28’ x 100’ building constructed of concrete block with insulated and heated interiors. Viewing decks will be located on either side of the press box.

• Lighting- There will be four 30’ high towers with Musco athletic lighting specifically designed for this stadium to provide maximum lighting for all activities.

• Daktronics Scoreboard and PA system- A large, 10’ X 36’, digital, multi-purpose (football, soccer, and track) scoreboard will be placed in the north end zone.

The Beatrice Lady O soccer team opened the spring season at the House of Orange with a 1-0 win over Omaha Roncalli. The new stadium is a great venue for taking in a soccer game. The raised stadium seating allows a better view where you can really see the plays develop.

Good job Lady O!

The undefeated Beatrice Orangemen football team will host Elk Horn South in the first round of State playoff games this Friday, October 26 at 7 p.m. Please come out to watch a great game, cheer on our fantastic team, and check out the newly installed donor recognition bricks.

We continue to accept donations to this great project and will periodically update donor names on the wall.

While the wet weather may have kept some fans away, it couldn't dampen the spirits of the crowd as the Beatrice Orangemen opened the House of Orange in great fashion with a 10-7 win over Elkhorn South.

BEATRICE -- Zach Decker’s 18-yard field goal with 21 seconds left lifted Beatrice to a 10-7 win against Elkhorn South on Friday night in a season-opening game for both teams.

Beatrice Orangemen kickoff the season with what should be a great game as they host Elkhorn South at the House of Orange. Beatrice is rated #3 in LJS preseason rankings, while Elkhorn holds the #10 spot.

We're expecting a record crowd for this first football game at the new complex so plan to come early. Gates open at 5:30 - game time 7:00.
