From the time the roads in Bear Valley are closed to automobile traffic with the first snow, usually in mid to late November, the village roads are groomed to make way for snowmobiling throughout the area. This snowmobile only community is unique in the United States and home to many alpine sports including some of the best snowmobiling in the country, outstanding alpine skiing at Bear Valley Moun

tain, excellent cross country skiing at Bear Valley Adventure Company, snowshoeing, hiking, and much more. Come see us...we're located in the heart of Bear Valley - cross from the Sheriff Station at the corner of Bear Valley Road and Quaking Aspen Road. The Snowmobile Center is dedicated to serving the needs of Bear Valley residents, friends, Guests, and visitors.

Battery Health

Dead batteries are not fun. That's why we now offer free battery health check up and trickle charge service (if needed) before you pick up your sled in Bear Valley. Many of our storage customers have taken advantage of this service as it often saves a lot of time and aggravation. In order to accommodate everyone, we request you give us a 72 hour notice if you want us to check out your battery.

The day after Christmas is traditionally our busiest day of the year. We may put out as many as 100 sleds for arriving cabin owners. In order for us to process all the battery health checks we need to have your request by no later than 5:00pm, Sunday, December 23. We may not be able to process requests received after that time.
