After an incredible week of Summer Camp and a fun-filled Family Fun Day on Saturday, we’re excited to kick off another week on the mats!

Summer is a great time to relax and make memories, but it’s also a great time to keep building good habits. Every class is an opportunity to improve your skills, challenge yourself, stay active, and take one more step toward your goals.

Whether you’re working toward your next stripe, your next belt, a competition, or simply becoming a better version of yourself, consistency is what makes the difference.

🌊☀️ What a Day! ☀️🌊

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to our Jiu Jitsu Family Fun Day! We had an amazing time spending the day together outside of the academy, enjoying food, lots of laughs, beach games, and even some training on the mats by the water.

One of the best parts of Jiu Jitsu is the community that comes with it. It’s more than just what happens on the mats—it’s the friendships, support, and memories we create together that make our team so special.

Thank you to everyone who brought food, helped set up, cleaned up, and made the day such a success. We are grateful to have such an incredible team and family.

That’s a wrap on summer camp! It was a blast sharing our love of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with all of our campers and watching them make new friends, build confidence, and develop important life skills such as leadership, communication, teamwork, and perseverance. We also loved seeing their Jiu-Jitsu skills improve throughout the week as they learned new techniques and challenged themselves in a positive environment.

We are doing it again next month. It’s July 20–24 at our Diamondhead location.

🏆🎉 Congratulations to Our Summer Camp Challenge Winners! 🎉🏆

What an incredible week of Summer Camp at Gracie United Hancock!

Throughout the week, our campers were challenged not only on the mats, but also in areas like leadership, teamwork, respect, responsibility, perseverance, and problem-solving. They worked hard, encouraged one another, stepped outside their comfort zones, and showed what it means to have a true martial arts mindset.

A special congratulations to Peyton, Lola, Heath and James! Your effort, positive attitude, and willingness to help others set a great example for everyone around you.

We’re proud of every camper who participated. Whether you earned the most points or simply gave your best effort, you should be proud of what you accomplished this week.

Thank you to all the parents for trusting us with your children and supporting them as they learned valuable life skills, built confidence, made new friends, and improved their jiu-jitsu.

Congratulations to our summer camp obstacle course winners 🥇 Maddox 🥈Lola 🥉Spike. Tomorrow is our final day of this camp. It’s amazing how fast these kids have bonded. It was great introducing many of them to BJJ and seeing the others have lightbulb moments in their jiu jitsu skills. We have another camp next month at our Diamondhead school. In the meantime, everyone is invited to join us for our evening classes.
