Please read the rulebook before entering. Many questions can be answered there, and all contestants are responsible for knowing the rules.
Want to run for year-end awards?
You must be a member of Salter Productions before your run/ride to earn points toward awards. Memberships can be purchased on Saddlebook.
We have some incredible awards lined up:
-Saddles to the Open and Youth Year-End Barrel Champions
-Buckles awarded in all classes
NBHA AL05 & NBHA AL06 Sanctioned
Dress Code
-Event shirt or western attire required.
-Limited event shirts will be available for purchase at the event.
-Performance and Slack contestants MUST be in western attire.
Time Slots
Time slots are limited.
-Afternoon slots will only be added if morning slots completely fill.
Exhibitions
-Exhibitions are the first 30 minutes of each time slot.
-Exhibitions must be purchased through SaddleBook.
-Please be ready and help us keep things moving so we can drag and begin competition runs on time.
Ground Conditions
-Arena will be dragged every 5 contestants during barrel racing and performance.
-Ground conditions will be maintained equally for race and performance contestants.
-Holding pens will remain in place the same for all time slots including performance.
Entries
-Pre-entries close Friday at 7:00 PM.
-Add-ons are accepted.
-No new entries will be taken once the 7:00 PM performance begins.
Parents
-If entering a child, please make sure the entry is under the child’s name and not the parent’s name.
Carry Overs
-If carrying your Open time into Youth, Senior, Adult, etc., be sure to enter the carry-over class only.
The Gelding Incentive
-$100 Added Money!
-Geldings must be nominated before entering the sidepot.
-Nominations are valid for one year and count toward regional awards.
Refund Policy
-Full refund (minus office fee) before draw is posted.
-After draw is posted, only vet-outs accepted.
-Vet-outs receive 75% refund with same-day vet documentation.
-No refunds for no-shows.
Help Us Stay On Schedule
-Be ready when your name is called.
-Keep the alleyway clear.
-Children must be accompanied by an adult.
-Please move in and out of the arena promptly so we can drag and keep the event running smoothly.
-You have two minutes to start your run once your name is called.
