Congratulations to sophomore catcher Sydni Carpenter and freshman infielder Riley Dunnam on earning ACCC All-Tournament Team honors this past weekend!

Dunnam turned in an impressive weekend at the plate, batting .667 with 8 hits and 3 RBI. Carpenter was unstoppable offensively, hitting .800 with 8 hits, including 3 doubles and 3 home runs, while driving in 5 RBI.

Carpenter also etched her name in the record books, surpassing both the program’s single-season and career home run records during the tournament weekend.

As we close another chapter, it’s hard to put this season into words. But what this team accomplished can’t fully be measured by any scoreboard. It’s found in the toughness they showed, the way they carried themselves through every moment, and the love they had for one another all season long.

To our families, fans, alumni, and community — thank you for showing up, believing in us, and standing behind this team every step of the way. Whether it was at home, on the road, or from afar, your support meant more than you know.

This season may be over, but the standard, the memories, and the bond this team built will last forever.

ACCC Softball Tournament, Pic of the Day 5.15.26.

Spent the day at the ACCC Softball Tournament in Alabaster today. Losts of content to come over the next few days, but I wanted to get this one out.

I love softball and I love postseason play. And of course, I love stuffed coyotes on a stick (who doesn't?). Thanks to these Coastal South softball players for posing for a picture today.
