Bay Area Soccer Association Recreational & travel soccer programs for kids 4-18. Get in the game with BASA! At this level there are teams for 4 - 14 year olds.

The Bay Area Soccer Association offers both recreational and travel (Select/Premier) programs for kids, ages 4-18. For kids that are just learning how to play soccer or who are looking for a fun, laid-back environment, the recreational program is a great choice. The focus is on developing the players while they play with friends and classmates, and is more about learning, improving and having fun,

over winning. Our travel programs are for the players who are looking to take their skills to the next level of competition. Here the focus is on developing the players to play in more advanced competition. These teams will play in a league with clubs from other cities and compete in tournaments as well. Our travel players will play around half of their league games at our own complex and the others at various clubs around the state. Most games are usually within an hour or so from Bay City. ⚽ BASA Spring Season Update ⚽

**POST UPDATE**

Our wonderful & wet beginning to Spring has forced us to push back the start date of the season. New opening day is Saturday, April 25. Coaches meeting will go on as planned & practices will still start on time. ***

We’ve had a few parents reach out asking about team assignments, so we wanted to share a quick update!

Coaches will be receiving their team rosters at the coaches meeting on Wednesday, April 8th. After that, coaches will begin reaching out to families to introduce themselves and schedule practices.

📣 What to expect:

You should hear from your coach sometime after Wednesday
Practice schedules will be set by your coach
Game schedules will be shared as soon as they are finalized

We know everyone is excited with the first games coming up on April 25th and we appreciate your patience as we finalize everything!

If you haven’t heard from your coach by early next week, feel free to reach out.

Congratulations to the BASA 10 Boys team for bringing home the championship from the Middletown Spring Blast tournament in Ohio this weekend.

The boys went 4-0, including a dramatic and hard fought 1-0 victory in the final. They kept clean sheets in every game while scoring 13 goals overall.
