Unfortunate day for the #16 sled finishing P20. Had a great first 100 laps until we battled rpm issues that that ended up being a failed pipe. From there our luck got no better and ended up calling it when the sled dropped a cylinder.

Extreme Powersports 300 recap!

Started P3 and ended with a P9 finish!
Had a pretty strong day running top 10 until a mishap had put us down a couple laps. Luckily the team was handy with the duct tape to get us back on the track to bring home our first top 10 finish!

I-500 Race Recap:

Preston started the race and was running in the top 10 looking strong. Unfortunately things changed quick when on lap 39 the sled started acting up and overheating. Brought the sled in and added coolant and checked for leaks, no leaks were found so we changed the o-rings on the heads which did not fix the issue. Ultimately decided to call it as the coolant was going into the motor but unsure where from.

Solid day for the 16 team! We were able to improve our qualifying position for Saturday’s I-500, moving from 22nd to 11th! On top of that both sleds qualified for tonight’s meijer pro shootout, Preston and Trent finished 3rd and 4th in their heat race and locked themselves into the 15 lap main event, where we finished 5th and 7th against the best of the best, congratulations to Zach Dewald and the 57 team on their win tonight!

Well the Michigan kenworth 250 did not go the way we wanted it to. After starting the race 11th, we found ourselves in 6th place at lap 60, unfortunately just as we made the pass for 5th, the track derailed. After getting it fixed we were 6 laps down. Then 90 laps later we derailed again and officially ended our day. We would like to thank Trent seorum for hopping on the #16 sled today with Preston. The crew did a great job today getting the sled repaired and back on the track, and of course we wouldn’t be here without all of our great sponsors, already excited for next season!
