Bay City Aquacats

Champs will be Saturday, June 27th in Rosenberg! Entries are DUE- Monday, June 22nd by 12pm. There will be no late entries available, changes or add ons after we have submitted our file to CCAA.

Champs has 2 different age group sessions:

Session 1: 9:30am - 10 & under (Warm-up - 8:20 am in two sessions)
Note: Pool area will open at 7:30am and coaches meeting at 9:15am

Session 2: 1:30pm - 11 to 18 (Warm-up - 12:20 pm in two sessions)
Note: Session 2 time may be shifted later to allow 1 hour between the end of the AM session and the start of warm ups for the PM session.

We must provide 2 timers per session. (Officials are supplied by CCAA)

Medals will be given for 1st -3rd, and ribbons for 4th - 8th place. The meet will be conducted in accordance with the National Federation of High Schools rulebook and the CCAA league rules. We will need volunteers to help with awards. Please help provide workers each session.

Results from Meet # 3 this past weekend in Rosenberg! Our Aquacats had a great meet, placing in the top 10, breaking their own PR's and swimming new events!

🏊‍♂️ Aquacats – Meet #3 Info (Rosenberg) 🏊‍♀️

Good morning, AquaCats families! We’re excited for Meet #3 in Rosenberg—let’s be ready for a smooth and successful day!

⏰ Arrival Time: Please arrive by 7:40 AM
✅ Swimmers should already have:
Goggles
Swim cap
Arms marked

🏊‍♀️ Warm-Ups:
Begin at 7:50 AM
Lanes 1–4
Be ready on the deck and listening for coaches

🏕️ Team Setup:
We will be set up under our tents in the courtyard. Please make sure your swimmer stays in that area with the team.

⚠️ Important Reminder:
This meet runs very organized and quickly. If swimmers are in the stands with parents, they risk missing their events. Coaches cannot leave the deck to search for swimmers, so please help us by keeping them with the team.

The Mystery Cooler will be loaded with a variety of great items, making it the perfect summer prize. Every ticket purchased helps support the Bay City Aquacats, a nonprofit swim team dedicated to providing opportunities for local youth swimmers.

✅ Prize must be picked up locally within 10 days of the drawing.

All proceeds directly benefit the Bay City Aquacats, helping cover coaching, insurance, meet fees, and other program expenses as we continue to grow our team and support our swimmers.

Aquacats Meet #2 Recap – June 6, 2026 💙💛🏊
What an incredible swim eet for our Aquacats! The team showed up strong, competed hard, and most importantly—improved across the board!

🥈🥉 So many strong 2nd & 3rd place finishes across relays and individual events, including Cam Thomas, Walker Griffith, Jack Power, Amelia Sansing, and multiple relay teams stepping onto the podium!

📈 Personal Bests = BIG WINS
This meet was full of time drops and personal records, which is what we love to see!
Huge drops from swimmers like:
✅ Amelia Sansing (‑10.50 in breast, ‑14.80 in free!)
✅ Cam Thomas (‑7.83 in 100 free)
✅ Mayne Russell & Beau Green (big improvements in multiple events)
✅ Grace Cano (‑4.10 in backstroke)
✅ Abi King (‑4.40 in breaststroke)
✅ Callie George & relay teams dropping significant time as well!

Even better—many swimmers achieved personal bests in multiple events throughout the meet! 💪
