It has been a while since I have updated this page. For those of you that haven't heard, on June 1st Sarah and I took over ownership of Lakeroad Lodge and Motel. This means that Far North Charters will now be part of Lakeroad Lodge. Nothing is going to change as we still have our charter boat and the availability for multiple boats for bigger groups. I am going to be closing this page soon.

Great weather and excellent fishing sums up the 2017 fishing opener. We boated close to 200 fish in two days. The jig bite is going very well. If you are thinking about booking a charter trip now is the time to do so. June is filling up fast!
This year we are offering an adventure package with 2 days fishing and 3 nights lodging. Night 1 at Lakeroad lodge. We fish our way to the northwest angle, stay at a resort in the angle on night 2, fish our way home the next day and stay night 3 at Lakeroad Lodge. We are just a few days away from the fishing opener. We are excited to get on the water and get the 2017 walleye season started. Call us and ask us about our adventure trips. We fish our way to the Northwest Angle, stay overnight up there at a resort, then fish our way home the next day. Wow it's been a while since our last post. The fish houses are put away and we are jumping right into open water mode. I took a drive today. Vidas, Frontier, and Birchdale landings are open and we are going to start our open water season tomarrow! Spring walleye fishing in a small boat can be great on the Rainy River. Our charter boats will be in the water and ready for the fishing opener and June is already filling up so if you are thinking about Spring walleyes, sturgeon, or a summer charter trip, it's never too early call today (701) 741-0377

Well what can I say fishing this past summer was amazing. I want to thank everyone that fished with us . We hope you have a good winter and hope to see you again next year. Remember it's never to early to reserve you dates for charter fishing especially June.

One of the best days I have ever had jigging on LOW. We caught well over 100 fish today.
