Things don’t always go as planned. Got out Friday and caught a lot of fish, but not the big ones we were hoping for.
Had a fish fry on Friday night, and Saturday when we went to go back out-the boat wouldn’t start! Neighbor towed us a short distance to the landing and off to the repair shop for a new starter. 🙁

What a day! Warm, calm and the fish were hungry 😎

Break time is over, and back to Lake of the Woods next week, for my last three fishing trips of the season.
I hear the fish are moving in closer and the bite is good!
Enjoy the beautiful weather coming up. Take a walk in the woods, wet a line, shoot a grouse, or just relax on the porch. Nothing like fresh air in the Fall. ♥️♥️♥️

Wow almost September! This summer flew by fast.
I just got back from Lake of the Woods-I hadn’t been up there since June. The fish were biting🎣 Had a blast.
Looking forward to spending the second half of September up there catching fish and making memories!
