The Legacy U.S. Open

Oakmont Country Club lived up to its reputation as one of the toughest tests in golf. The final round pins were tucked and the greens were slick!

When the dust settled, Cody Wintz captured his 2nd Legacy major championship, finishing at +15 (299) over four rounds to claim the title. Cody separated himself from the field on a course where avoiding big numbers was just as important as making birdies.

🥉 Brian Chapman — 341 (+57)

Oakmont doesn’t hand out trophies—it makes players earn them. Congratulations to Cody on adding another major championship to his Legacy résumé and becoming a two-time major winner.

On the youth side, Trevan Thompson continued his brilliant season with his 3rd major championship! He’ll head in to the 4th major with a chance at the Grand Slam!

The Legacy U.S. Open Championship

The U.S. Open is still more than a week away… but we’re getting this major started a week early at The Legacy.

This year’s championship will be played at Oakmont Country Club, host of last year’s U.S. Open and one of the most demanding golf courses in the world. Thick rough, lightning-fast greens, and no room for mistakes.

Tournament Format
• Play 3 rounds throughout the week, on your schedule
• Saturday Night Showdown for the Final Round
• Gross & Net Divisions
• Legacy Credit payouts

Entry Fee
• $50 Members
• $100 Non-Members (4 rounds included)

The Legacy PGA Championship is complete!

Aronimink Golf Club showed its teeth all week long. Firm fairways, tucked pins, lightning-fast greens, and major championship pressure made this one a true test from the opening tee shot to the final putt.

After four demanding rounds, we crowned two champions at The Legacy:

Youth Champion: Trevan Thompson
The Legacy PGA Champion: Cody Wintz

Cody’s championship rounds included scores of 68, 69, 79, and a final round of 73:

That steady Sunday finish was enough to survive one of the toughest setups we’ve played all year and claim The Legacy PGA Championship trophy.
