For those that dont know the Combat Rifle Championship is our club championship. It happens in September each year at Centerline of Calhoun on the second Saturday and Sunday. Its 2 days, 10 stages, catered lunch both days and an epic prize table. Fi****ms, Suppressors, training courses, accessories, magazines, medical supplies and more. Saturday night we have a huge bonfire and the usual buffoonery associated with it.

I hate to disappoint anyone specifically attending for the fajitas we mentioned in an earlier post. We will be eating burgers and brats instead.......

We were informed by Judy from Centerline of Calhoun that there are roads closed for construction, causing a detour in Bellevue. Anyone coming from I69 is advised to, instead of going through town, take Ionia rd S/E to Burton Hwy S/W To Sand Rd S to get to Centerline to avoid the construction and delays.

As you should know by now, we are holding our 2026 annual members meeting after the match tomorrow. We very much encourage all members to be present at the meeting. ACTS belongs to all of us and it is the responsibility of all members to ensure it's proper administration. However, we know some simply cannot. We still want to include you and we must have a quorum of the membership in order to conduct any business. The ACTS bylaws allow for meetings to be conducted electronically. To that end, we will be live-streaming the meeting via Zoom at the link found below. Please note that while the livestream will allow virtual attendance, members attending virtually won't be able to comment, or make motions. If any members attending virtually have any motions they care to raise, it is advised that they have another member that is physically present, present any motions for them.

Today a couple fellow and myself are shooting 's match. We are hoping to do better than the ass-kicking we took in the winter version a few months ago. If you have not checked this match, or MTC out, you really should. Clare, Greg, Jennifer, and the rest of the crew there are amazing as is the facility and this match. Wish us luck!

The June match includes the members meeting! Food will be provided and we will be voting in new board members plus whatever else makes it to the agenda. If you would like to bring something before the board for consideration, please email the topic and discussion to [email protected] in order to make the best use of the meeting time. If you have a thought or idea, bring it in its final proposed form. Statements such as: "I think the board should" without any idea on how to achieve the goal or volunteering to assist are generally less likely to see action than a well thought out proposal and solution.
