Harper Creek Junior Cheerleaders

Harper Creek Junior Cheerleaders HCJC supports student-athletes enrolled in 3-8 grades excited about the sport of cheer! The HC Junior Cheer Program has been running for over 20 years.

We are open to students that will be in 3rd - 8th grade in the fall of each season. Our cheerleaders get out there to encourage our Junior Football teams and get the crowd on their feet! Our goal is for the girls (and boys!) to have fun while they learn the basics of cheerleading and HC cheers and chants while preparing for high school cheer.

📱 Beginning this fall, Harper Creek Community Schools is implementing new expectations for student wireless communication devices during the school day, in accordance with a new Michigan law passed in 2026. 💙🤍

Here’s what families and students need to know:

🏫 Elementary School: Students are encouraged to leave devices at home. If brought to school, devices must be turned off and kept in backpacks.

🔒 Middle School: Devices must be stored in lockers during the school day.

🎓 High School: Devices must be stored in lockers during the school day.

Exceptions will be made when a device is medically necessary or required as part of a Section 504 Plan or IEP.

Our goal is simple: phones away, focus on learning, and safety always.

Parents and guardians can still reach their students when needed by contacting the school office.

Please take a few minutes to review these expectations with your student before the school year begins. If you have questions, contact your student’s school or visit harpercreek.net for additional district information.

🏈🍂 Fall sports are almost here, Beaver Nation! 💙🤍

The start of the Harper Creek High School fall sports season is just around the corner! Official practices begin Monday, August 10, and we can't wait to see our Beaver student-athletes back in action.

📋 Before the first day of practice, be sure your student-athlete has a physical dated on or after April 15, 2026, on file and all required athletic paperwork has been completed.

🎉💙 Incoming 5th Grade Orientation is Almost Here! 💙🎉

We can't wait to welcome our newest middle school students to Harper Creek Middle School for WEB (Where Everyone Belongs) Day on Friday, August 14!

📅 Friday, August 14, 2026
⏰ 8:00–11:30 a.m.
📍 Harper Creek Middle School

This orientation is for incoming 5th grade students only. Students will spend the morning getting to know their new school, meeting staff and classmates, and participating in fun activities that will help them feel confident and connected before the first day of school.

🚌 Transportation
• Bus riders will be picked up and dropped off at their regular bus stop at their normal times.
• Families providing transportation should use the east side of the building, between the administration office and the middle school, for drop-off and pick-up.

👟 What to Bring
• Dress comfortably for an active morning.
• Please leave backpacks, purses, and tote bags at home.
• Cell phones are not permitted during the event. If students need to make a call, they may use the school's phone.
