Power 15 — 285 lbs

The top spot goes to Logan Tollison of Grand Ledge. Tollison was the clear #1 at this weight. The Comet senior posted a 55-0 record, dominating everyone all season long, including his closest peers within the weight class. Tollison registered 50 falls on the season, with only two matches going to decision.

#2 is Layne O'Neil of Fowlerville. The Gladiator senior claimed the D2 state championship, finishing his season 50-2. O'Neil's only losses were to #1 Logan Tollison (Grand Ledge) and Harland Begg (Marshall). He not only avenged the loss to Begg but also won the season series 2-1. The D2 state champion won four regular season individual tournament titles, earning championships at the Fowlerville Scramble, Defiance Tri-State Border War, John Harris Invitational, and the CAAC Red Tournament.

Marshall junior Harland Begg claims the #3 spot in the Power 15. Begg concluded his season with a 46-3 record, with his only losses coming to eventual state champions. He earned a Joe Loren Memorial Invitational title with a fall over D3 third place finisher Nick Brasseur (Gladwin). Begg also won the McGinnis Evans Invitational and the I-8 Conference Championship. He earned a district title by defeating eventual state champion #2 Layne O'Neil (Fowlerville), 9-3.

Caleb Pugh of Grand Rapids Christian lands at #4. The senior posted a 46-2 record, with both losses coming to top five wrestlers in the Power 15. Pugh earned wins over three D2 all state wrestlers and claimed a tournament title at the Adam H. Provencal Invitational. He recorded a fall over D3 state champion Mitchell Swift in the finals of the Sparta Invitational and added a Reed City Invitational title with a first period fall over D2 sixth place finisher Brigham Smith (Freeland). Pugh avenged a regional loss with a 6-1 decision in his final match of the season to claim a bronze medal.

The #5 spot goes to D2 fourth place finisher Ryder Balkema of Otsego. The junior posted a 38-2 record and was unbeaten during the regular season. Balkema earned tournament titles at the Allegan Southwest Classic, GL Blue Devil Classic, and Wolverine Conference Tournament. He secured a key win over Anthony Heinritz (Williamston) in the consolation semifinals and recorded a notable fall over #4 Caleb Pugh in the regional final.

#6 is Jase Fuller of Lapeer. The junior finished 49-4 and earned a state finals appearance. Fuller recorded wins over five Power 15 opponents and claimed five tournament titles, including the DCC Invitational, where he pinned D1 third place finisher Liam Samborski (Oxford) in the finals. Fuller won the season series over Samborski, 4-1, and also earned a fall over D3 state finalist Dylan Boone (Brooklyn Columbia Central). A loss to Anthony Heinritz (Williamston) in his home tournament limits how high he ranks.

D1 third place finisher Liam Samborski (Oxford) takes the #7 spot. The junior finished 49-5. Samborski opened the season with a Grappler Gold Invitational title and followed with an Oakland County Championship. He placed runner up at both the DCC Invitational and Hudson Super 16, losing to #6 Fuller in both finals. Samborski's only losses were to #1 Tollison and #6 Fuller. He did secure a win over Fuller in a district dual and added wins over two other Power 15 wrestlers.

D4 state champion Sawyer Blaszczyk (Charlevoix) comes in at #8. The senior posted a 50-2 record en route to a state title. Blaszczyk won a dramatic finals match over Noah Walker (Hesperia). His only in state loss came to Colton Goethals (Kingsley), whom he later defeated to win the season series 2-1. Blaszczyk earned tournament titles at the Manton Tournament, Mio Thunderbolt Invitational, and Northern Shores Conference Championship.

#9 is Mitchell Swift of Delton Kellogg. Swift posted a 53-3 record and claimed a D3 state title. In the finals, he avenged a regional loss to Dylan Boone (Brooklyn Columbia Central), winning 5-4. Swift recorded wins over five all state wrestlers and captured titles at the Burton Richards Memorial, Mike Adamson Invitational, Hopkins Invitational, and SAC Conference Championships.

Dylan Boone (Brooklyn Columbia Central) earns the #10 spot. The senior posted a 46-6 record and finished as a D3 state runner up. Boone placed 2nd at the Fowlerville Scramble and won titles at the Jim Dewland Classic and Warrior Invitational. He also captured the Cascades Conference Championship and defeated #9 Swift in the regional semifinals.

Jericho Powe (Saline) takes the #11 spot. The junior posted a 44-7 record and finished 4th in D1. After dropping his opening match at the state tournament, he won four straight matches to reach the consolation finals, defeating Dick Demar (Lapeer) and Jordan Roe (Battle Creek Central) along the way. Powe also won three tournament titles this season.

#12 Jordan Roe (Battle Creek Central) finished 5th in D1 with a 36-4 record. Roe earned a win over Alexander Salmon (Brighton) in the regional semifinals and added two wins over Landon Cooke (Utica) at the state tournament. He claimed titles at the Don Johnson Invitational and the SMAC Championships.

D4 state finalist Noah Walker (Hesperia) comes in at #13. The senior posted a 48-4 record. Walker won the Manton Tournament and added three more tournament titles at the Fennville Invitational, Friday Night Lights, and the West Michigan Conference Championships. He also recorded a win over Nick Brasseur (Gladwin).

#14 Anthony Heinritz (Williamston) finished 35-13 and placed 5th in D2. The senior won the Lapeer Battle for the Bolt, earning an overtime victory over Alexander Salmon (Brighton) and defeating #6 Fuller in the finals. He also claimed a title at the Ovid Elsie Tournament.

Landon Cooke (Utica) claims the final spot at #15. Cooke finished 25-6 and placed 6th in D1. He secured two wins over Alexander Salmon (Brighton) and won the Macomb County Invitational Classic. All of his losses came to Power 15 opponents.
